But the technology to go to Mars is far from practical....perhaps in a hundred years?

Absolutely. Think of all the great Sci-Fi movie locations that we could have there. Our reach should always exceed our grasp.

Yes, especially when committed to reaching, i'd like to speculate further about landing on other moons etc, in our solar system, but that's probably too sci=fi.

In theory, we can go, we do have the technology.
Unless they are full of it, it's in the making.

Their plan is to put it on pay per view, to bring in funding.

In theory, its a damn good idea.
