Can, nowadays, quality communication span our religious beliefs?

Can, nowadays, quality communication span our religious beliefs? When we establish a rapport with another person/persons, will such a bonding traverse religious differences? Or does our concept of "God" interfere with such meaningful communication? What are your thoughts?

I think it opens a lot of exciting new possibilities, actually. Many of them related to acknowledging and having an actual shot at clarifying those religious differences that you mention.

As for the concept of God... well, I don't think it has aged very well. Theistic religions will have to reconsider and deemphasize it quite a lot if they want to survive.
