Wasn't sure exactly where to put this... but figured this was relatively close. You fill out 20 questions, and it gives you a list of religions (or lack thereof) your beliefs are similar to. It's somewhat accurate. My top five:

1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%) 2. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (94%) 3. Jehovah's Witness (88%) 4. Baha'i Faith (84%) 5. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (81%)

Quite a jumble, huh?

Wow. I've included everything where I got over 50%. Isn't "orthodox Quaker" a contradiction in terms? I guess it's no wonder I have such a strong affinity for the RCC and EOC.

I'm just surprised that my 3rd and 4th place results were Christian sects. But #1 & 2 are dead on and unsurprising, really. I've always identified with secular humanism and I really like what I've heard and read about UU. I definitely thought non-theism would be higher up the list and Buddhism and Taoism are lower than what I thought they would be, too. Of course those at the very bottom come as no shock, however.

I have no idea what Scientology involves...

but I do remember it being relatively high the other times I took this test...

Perhaps it's the view that science and my beliefs aren't mutually exclusive... rather - they're simply demonstrations of the same thing

Despite it's name, Scientology has very little to do with any real science.

Remarkably similar to Green Gaia's results, no? I would have quoted her for comparison, but the character limit wouldn't let me, I'm afraid. I'm quite surprised that Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and many forms of Christianity found their way into my results. I suppose I should have put Disagree to "Violence is wrong" as high priority.
