I love beans on toast for breakfast unfortunately my stomach doesn't so I don't have them much these days. When I was younger I lived on them.

Even with beano, beans do a number on my digestive tract. Besides which, they are far from what I'd choose for breakfast.

I put no, but that's because I don't eat breakfast.

Eat what you want for breakfast. I don't understand the segregation of certain foods to certain times of the day.
My dad once told me off for having yoghurt for breakfast and said it's lazy. I was like....

He'd be really ticked off at our house. The only one who eat breakfast is the toddler, and even then its usually something like yogurt, fruit, or a jelly sandwich.

Are they a breakfast food?

I had baked beans, eggs and tots for breakfast this morning.

I wouldn't ordinarily think of it as a breakfast food, but I wouldn't mind. Sounds like something that would get me really gassed up in the morning.

Wait. Did we decide lentils are beans? If so, then I had beans. The khatta meetha poha I had for breakfast had lentils in it. But they were boiled, not baked.

Yeah I would consider baked beans a different genre of food then lentils. Sweeter, saucier. Beanier.

Also, many varieties contain meat products, like salt pork or bacon. So I guess I'd be a no, then. No eggs either.

Pass me the tots, please.

And the ranch sauce.

Wait, no. After looking at the ingredients, this ranch is made from buttermilk and sadness.

Pass me the ketchup.

Wait, HFCS? Pass.

Pass me the salt.

Oh wait. My blood pressure.

Back to Indian food, I guess.
