I see a large, yellow warehouse looming in the background. So this fellow just steps out of the Walmart and gets attacked by ROUS's? Sounds like a movie to me.

We have some large cats, very large birds, the occasional bear, three very poisonous snakes, coyotes and nasty mean lowdown no-good raccoons.

Do they have opposable thumbs? Our raccoons do, and they are evolving!
