Although with us now being able to self design our own evolution with genetics things will change.

Until our genetic manipulation technology has improved considerable and we are able to apply this technology globally it will likely have little effect. Even then such technology is little proof against many other unpredictable events in our future such as climate change and the like.

We can't predict in advance what environments we will need to adapt ourselves too.

Assuming Evolution is True, are the human beings in general getting more and more
intellignet or less and less intelligent with the passage of generations? Please support
your argument with concrete reasoning and evidence.

You really don't need to go back very far to know that we are definitely more intelligent, but then we have the benefits of hindsight, of learning from our predecessors, an education system, book publishing, and translated works.

The prolific collection and recording of learning materials means skills and learning will no longer be lost or passed on inaccurately.

If you look at a timeline of scientific discoveries you would be hard pressed to say educationally we were going backward.

Actually there is some research going on that evolutionary wise our brains are shrinking.

"Which brings us to an unpleasant possibility. “You may not want to hear this,” says cognitive scientist David Geary of the University of Missouri, “but I think the best explanation for the decline in our brain size is the idiocracy theory.”

I do understand what your saying though for humanity as a whole and our knowledge.

Yes we have a ways to go.

Asking have you seen these though?

Can you live forever

"As human beings we are limited to how much time we have in life. By taking care of our bodies with exercise and healthy eating, we can easily live up to 100 years, but our body will still slowly weaken if we like it or not. Even an accident or natural occurrence can change that at any time causing problems inside the body and out and possibly even death. Fortunately, with how science is progressing, that could all change.

Discovery Channel has a 1 hr TV special starring the Mythbuster's Adam Savage titled, Curiosity: Can You Live Forever, that show the possibilities the future holds with current technology and ideas existing today that may very well change how we live."
