Jacob said he was going there ( to Sheol, Hell) when he died...

Job prayed to go there, so his suffering would stop.

Ecclesiastes says at death, everyone goes there.

When Jesus died, he went there for parts of 3 days.
Here's the thing. Jacob and Job didn't believe in Hell. For them it was Sheol. But, with Jesus, then there is hell. And the Jewish Sheol and Christian Hell are not the same places and are not alike.

In Scripture though, Hell = Sheol. Hell is just the English word.

However, Christendom has changed the meaning of it.
That’s on them, and not the Bible’s fault.

No, the various versions of the New Testament Hell do not match the Old Testament sheol. That was the point.

There's no way they are the same, because what the Jews describe as Sheol and the Christians describe as Hell are two totally different things, and the Jews do not believe in Hell.
