Cool post, illy! And it's true. Why is there so much political debate over climate change? I think it is because people think (incorrectly) that climate change issues are simple. But in reality, they are as complex as physics. In fact they really are: physics, chemistry, biology and geology problems...and engineering too.
BTW, it was reported yesterday that last month was the hottest May internationally since records have been kept. And now four former EPA heads under Republican presidents have stated publicly that global warming is real and that we have to do something about it.
It is clear that this problem will grow in step with the recovery of our economy. We need to start thinking strategically about CO2 recovery. Another example of how international cooperation is needed.
