Right. But if you notice, I didn't just say 'use one's (God-given) brain'. I combined seeking guidance from God with using our brains. Of course, since you don't believe in God, you're going to ignore the first bit. So my seeking guidance from God and using my brain is not the same thing as you using your brain (human reasoning) alone. i.e. I reject the notion of using human reasoning alone to attempt to understand something (whether that be Islaam, the Qur'aan, the actions of Muhammad (pbuh), or anything else).
