Ebaa, NON14-Website:

Accompanied by an Islamic delegation from France, the Islamic thinker and scholar, Dr. Muhammad Tijani has pay a Visit to the holy Shrine of Imam Hussain peace be upon him (The grandson of the Prophet Muhammed. He is appointed by God as the third successor of the Prophet SAW according to Shia Muslims). After the visit, the delegation has met with the Secretary General of the Holy Shrine Sheikh (Abdel Mahdi al-Karbalai).

In a statement to the correspondent of NON14, on Thursday, Mr Tijani said that "this is the fourth visit, which I have the honour to pay to the holy shrines in Iraq after the fall of the dictatorship, and during each visit, I notice that there are developments in Iraq as whole and in the holy shrines in particular," he added that "In this trip I came along with Mr (Abdul-Karim Mohammed), a Muslim French man who has converted to Islam since he was 15 years old and followed the doctrine of Ahl ul-Bayt (Shia Islam) through me more than thirty years ago, and his French Muslim wife as well. "

For his part, Mr Abdul-Karim Mohammed has told NON14 : "I came, accompanied by Mr. Tijani and my wife (Zahra), who is French and who has converted to Islam and became a follower of Ahl ul-Bayt (the prophet Household Members A.S). He has elaborated: " I have embraced Islam since my young age, and met my wife, who embrace the same thoughts that I embrace, so it was a good occasion for marriage. I was participating in the congressional prayers that were held by Imam Khomeini in France, although i had not knew him; however Dr. Tijani introduced me to his character at that time.

He (Muhammad) continued to say that his villages in France has converted to Islam and followed the creed of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), explaining that the village embracement of the Islamic religion and the doctrine of the prophet's household members was due to Dr (Mohamed Tijani). The French Muslim (Abdel Karim Mohammed) described his feelings when he entered the pure Shrine of Imam Husain A.S as someone who entered a jewel in Paradise […]. He added "I was very excited to visit the Infallible Imams peace be upon them where I knew them before, but I did not had the privilege of visiting their Holiness, pointing out that this visit, is according to an invitation extended by Tijani to them and they are now hosted by Imam Hussain peace be upon him and he is full of happiness with his wife in the vicinity of the pure Imams. "

On the other hand, the French visitor has expressed surprise of what is announced by satellite TVs and the media, especially on the European ones about the security situation in Iraq; stating that what he saw and touched during his stay in Iraq, is on the contrary of what he had heard of from those western channels.

Mohammad al-Tijani al-Samawi is a Tunisian Scholar, who converted to the Shi'i school of thought.

He described how he found that Shia islam is the True Religion in a book He named as "Then I was Guided".

If I may add,

I looked up the phrase on google. It seemed to suggest that Abdel was actually Abdul, which means "servant", which makes sense because that would mean "Servant of the Mahdi". The article perhaps had a typo.

You either believe what you wrote or not ...
In either case ....you are in trouble...
Honestly...

Just so that other member will not be misguided by what you wrote ...

In Arabic Language the word "عبد" which is written in many different way in English transliteration such as : Abd, Abdul, Abdel ...

Has many different meanings like servant, slave, worshipper...
and in can take completely different kind of meanings in certain kind of usages such as poetry and Art...

Muslims Sunni and Shi's use names Like "Abel Nabi"
Where the word Nabi means prophet....

Even children understand that the meaning of this name does not mean Worshipper of the the prophet.

By the way ..Wahabis claim that Shia worship their Imams...
Shia paid a high price for holding fast on their creed...
Once you know that you are on the right path ...you will be willing to pay the price ...even if it's your life....

It's more than 1400 years since the prophet's SAAW death...
In average, How many shia Muslims were killed in every one of those years? lets assume that the number is X.

So the total number of Shia Muslim killed during all of those years= 1400 * X

God will never forget any one of them....

Abdel-Nabi actually is unIslamic name, that represents ignorance of some Muslims. We should correct them not to defend their wrong and ignorance.

'Abd should be to Allah and His names only. Abdel-Rasul and Abdel-Nabi and such are unIslamic names.

I think we should try our best to get away from this Sunni, Shia labeling garbage... which is totally against the Quran and the message of Allah... we should refer to our selfs only as Muslims...

The only being that is worthy of worship is Allah and him alone... thus we can only be a servant, slave, worshipper to Allah...

The difference in vowel is just due to the case ending on the first word in the construct. They both have exactly the same meaning.

These names abd-<something> are a standard formula in Arabic, and Islamically speaking they should be reserved only for God and for his 99 attributes, eg. Abd'ullah, Abd'ur-Rahman, Abd'-us-Salaam etc.

Abd'ul-Mahdi (or Abd'el-Mahdi) is a misguided statement, which is bordering on polytheism.

This is the Wahabi Syndrome….

That inability to know the precise meanings of monotheism and polytheism…

I won’t talk about what this confusion has led to…

Nor I want to waste my time debating people who were faced with a story of an important Sunni Scholar (you can contact any Tunician scholar including Shaykh Rached Ghannouchi, chairman of Tunisia's an-Nahda Movement to inform you about who is Al Tijani) and instead of reading why he has left Sunni Islam and Join the Prophet's Household members' -Peace be upon them- school, Shia Islam, instead of reading you are trying to derail the thread…

one of you is saying that he loves Abu-Baker and Umer, may Allah join him with them in the hereafter, and others are talking about what names are right and what names are wrong.

"ولو علم الله فيهم خيرا لاسمعهم ولو اسمعهم لتولوا وهم معرضون"
سورة الأنفال - سورة 8 - آية 23
