A Universe from Nothing?

Yes you do. Your dogma says you will 'stand up from the grave' with the angels. You believe in heaven vs hell, and desire to go to heaven while rejecting hell. That is duality.
we either stand from the body or follow it into the grave

no form of light follows anyone

this is not duality
it is reality

Since you've not yet died, how do you know you follow your body into the grave? And how do you know light follows no one? You're just making stuff up, and then recoiling in horror of it, scaring yourself to death of the idea of spending eternity in a cold, dark grave, screaming your bloody head off with no one to hear you.

Now go to your room, silly.

The 'reality' here is to understand the absolute polarity,
the existence of one resulting possibility.
And the belief in spiritual existence is the prime problem.
Ahhhhh the words of men, credence to the fallen,
buried, decomposed, or cremated,
we all will be gone forever,
no duality or reality to be cognized,
we will be dead and gone.
Leave good memories to others.

no.....really.....

'you' are stuck in your body....we all are
few exceptions (maybe Edgar Cayce?)

you will go to sleep and awake in the same parcel of flesh you think you know so well

and would you not be 'beside yourself' .....literally.....should you awaken in some other form

and yet this must happen

You cannot escape at will......
and what makes you think you can do so when your last breath leaves your body?

into the box you go
into the ground you go

Eternal darkness is not a philosophical idea
It is physically real

unless of course.....you renounce the flesh in that last hour

then stand up.....in spirit....
and continue

When you die, is it not possible that 'you' leave your body BEFORE it goes to the grave? Why do you think you follow the dead body to the grave? After all, the body is lifeless, which means 'you' are no longer there, right?

Who is it that lives?
Who is it that is 'dead and gone'?

Breathing in, breathing out,
Moving forward, moving back,
Living, dying, coming, going —
Like two arrows meeting in flight,
In the midst of nothingness
Is the road that goes directly
to my true home.

Empty handed I entered the world.

Barefoot I leave it.
My coming, my going-
Two simple happenings
That got entangled.

not necessarily

'you' did not put 'you' in that carcass 'you' have

'you' think it's 'your' decision to continue in the next life?
