A Return to the Argument from Evil (by Epicurus)

Why would separation from God and His way entail this world?

Because when people rejected God, they were expelled to this world.

Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen. 3:23

It is not necessary to know evil for good life. Knowing evil means you get to know painful things.

Sure. But by this rationale then it is not necessary for God to let us know evil, but he still does. So why not grant us this knowledge right away in an instant?

But why this world, rather than some other?
