A huge problem with the JW religion:

I have read a few apostate writings. There were lies in every one of them. Those point the finger every where but where its deserved-self. God says --do not even eat a meal with one who was baptized and became unrepentant.

Which has nothing to do with my original comment that:

'They are not allowed to talk about, watch, listen to, or read anything about their mythology other than Watchtower approved material."

They=JWs

Obviously, then, there are no JWs on the forums here.

Yes, The JW,s are correct. Most new ones don't have a clue and a lie from an apostate could cost them their life everlasting. The written word of God has most confused, thus 34,000 different religions claiming to be Christian--1 is correct.

LOL

It's funny how ALL Christians claim that ONLY THEIR denomination or individual interpretation has it "right" and everyone else has it all "wrong". Which comes not from any real facts, but pure ego.

What drives Bible literalists nuts is to point out that they are claiming God is a liar. The scientific evidence is so clear that the stories of Genesis are a myth that the only way for them to be true is for their all powerful God to have planted endless false evidence that.supports only the scientific version of the history of our planet. So did God lie or are the stories of Genesis only morality tales at best?

Don't get me started.

I find it mind boggling how most Christians love to arrogantly throw out how ONLY THEY have "spiritual discernment", yet think obvious parables are "real" events.

And besides the Genesis myth, the incredible denial of facts and insane explanations they come up with to make the Noah's Ark story work somehow, makes me shake my head in disbelief so much I get whiplash.

Just say "NO!" to church.
That simply isn't true- unless you choose church porn over biblical truth.
I VERY rarely read WT lit: my research is from NON-WT lit- for I don't want to be deceived again, as when I was a churchoid.

My, how tenuous salvation must be, and how weak God’s power to save if one statement from a human being can topple the whole house of cards.

Denominations are but different facets of the same spiritual jewel. Xy is a multifaceted, multi-colored, 3-dimensional paradigm that is inclusive, varied, and diverse. Unity =/= uniformity. The view posted here is narrow, weak, ego-driven and fearful.

Forgive me, but I come and go on this forum so need to get familiar with who is who and what they believe in. So help me out here. You imply you research Christian material, yet you talk about being "deceived", say "NO" to church, and use the term "churchoid", yet your profile states you are Christian-JW?

So please clarify what your basic religious beliefs are so I can better converse with you.

God is so much bigger than your post allows. It belittles many who are deep, spiritual people who have found a way to enter the holy and create beauty in their lives. The spiritual journey is so much more than a narrow doctrine and a set of commandments.

Actually facts and the teachings of Jesus prove the JW teachers correct.

A hand picked apostle by Jesus--fell. Anyone can fall by their own bad choices. Satan has had 99% mislead throughout. He already has them so his target are those who find Gods truth.

Sorry. I don’t believe in that.

to what end?

What kind of question is that?

I replied to a JW cult follower, that in itself explains "to what end" they would lie to him.

Although the same applies to ALL man made religions, as their sole purpose is to insert themselves in between man and God, so that gullible people look to MAN for answers, instead of God. And they do this to self-aggrandize themselves, money, control and power over others, with nothing truly spiritual to offer, just fancy meaningless words and empty rituals.
