Oh, you mean how excessive money can be used to sway elections.

The USA needs massive election finance reform after the Citizens United catastrophe by the Supreme Court.
Oh, so you mean you agree with Rep. Porter that US elections are rigged.

Only in the context that she meant it, that the wealthy can manipulate elections with excessive money.

Not in the way that conservatives claim about election fraud in 2020. The irony is that the fraud was all on the part of Trump and his co-conspirators. And we know Trump and his fellow criminals failed. This is why they were indicted and facing justice.

Of course they're rigged. It's all about money. Lobbying groups and rich donors buy out politicians and tell them what agendas to push.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. Katie porter faced massive outspending against her at a 3 to 1 ratio. That doesn't feel like what should happen in a democracy. To my mind we need massive reform to funding, and shorter, more concise primary and election processes. I think one reason so many voters don't know the candidates is because they campaign for years. Not many want to pay attention that long.

It sounds more like a claim that corporate interests supporting the free-trade Republicans outspend the dems on propaganda, gerrymandering districts, voter suppression, ballot suppression, &c.
