En el marco del Acuerdo Final para la Terminación del Conflicto y la Construcción de una Paz Estable y Duradera suscrito entre el Gobierno nacional de Colombia y el grupo armado FARC-EP, se estableció que el armamento y las municiones entregados por esta guerrilla se destinarán a la construcción de tres (3) monumentos.

En 2017, la artista Doris Salcedo creó el contra-monumento Fragmentos, Espacio de Arte y Memoria, ubicado en Bogotá, cuya inauguración se realizó en 2018. La maestra Salcedo planteó la construcción de un espacio cuyo piso y fundamento estuviera literalmente conformado por las armas depuestas por la antigua guerrilla de las FARC. Dichas armas fueron fundidas y reconfiguradas por víctimas de violencia sexual como el soporte físico y conceptual sobre el cual se erige este lugar de memoria. Fragmentos es una obra de arte viva que busca instaurar un espacio de múltiples reflexiones en torno a la relación entre el arte y la memoria, entendiendo el arte y la cultura como escenarios que posibilitan la reconciliación.

Los invitamos a ver esta película, que narra el emocionante proceso de construcción de la obra y recoge las voces de las personas que participaron de manera activa en su ejecución.

A court needs to be based on the principle "The Law is equal for all" . A court who doesn't, is unconstitutional in many EU countries.

Unfortunately the USA. And a few other countries have a veto over it's decisions, which removes it's power to act.
