100 Starcraft Marines Vs 1 Warhammer 40k Space Marine

Thrown into the 40k universe, we'd be even more likely to die. In 40k, there are no winners. Everybody is at the brink of death except for the Tau (who just haven't yet figured out how screwed they are), the Necrons (who are mostly asleep), the Tyranids (who aren't even sentient), da Orks (cuz dey is da stompiest), and the chaos forces of Nurgle (who has a good thing going, since everything decays eventually).

Really, humans are in one of the worst situations outside of the Dark Eldar, who literally have to torture people to death to prevent their souls from being eaten (oh yeah, also for fun).

I can dream can't I?
And I bow to the 40k Master of Knowing.

I REALLY like nerding out with my warhams. Painting a marine right now to kill time until my German final. Anybody can ask me most anything about the game, and I can find something, so long as it's not a rules query from before 4th edition. I started playing 40k in 4th, and before that I only played Inquisitor a lot.

Space Marines have a 3+ save. They win.

Not too unusual really. Sororitas have power armor too, and necron armor is equivalent.

Tactical dreadnought (terminator) and artificer armor confer a 2+ save. Now that is impressive.

i dont play the game........i only read the books

I want to play, but getting started can cost some money and not sure what I want to play as. I was thinking Tyranid, but that's more for the reason to mess with a friend of mine that plays since he hate Tyranid.
But how can you not love something like this:

I know nothing of Warhammer, but it sounds like something that would be right up my alley.

It's awesome. I've been collecting on and off for years, but recently I've started playing the game with friends. It's a lot deeper than I thought it would be.
