Learning about people’s faith & what they believe in, how they think about it & try to practice it

Thank you. Are there things that your faith inspires you to practice in every part of your life, wherever you go and whatever you do, for example in your interactions with people, at work, and when you’re out and about?

Learning about people’s faith & what they believe in, how they think about it & try to practice it

I really like that armor idea! We have mantras in Hinduism that are considered 'armor'. Sometimes if I am worried, I will listen to one of these kavachams... I think the one I use most the the Sita Kavacham(armor of Sita). I love your practice!

Learning about people’s faith & what they believe in, how they think about it & try to practice it

I practice my faith through Bible reading, singing worship songs, prayer and going to church. I was inspired by my pastor to do these movements where I go through the armor of God and do physical movements to put them on as well as putting on prayer and praise. The armor of God includes the belt...

Demons, is there any evidence they even exist?

How do I know that you can tell. You can't tell me how you can. You can just repeat that you can and cast accusations without any evidence. By that matter, who are you that has the authority to judge the faith of others. I don't recall any passages in Scripture that so anoint random posters...

Demons, is there any evidence they even exist?

You said you were a believer and born again with the Holy Spirit of God living in you and you cannot discern the spirits, you cannot tell when the devil and demons are speaking? That’s not even possible as far as what the Bible and what I know to be true. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the...

Could those angels who rebelled in heaven have received salvation?

there has never been a war in the third heaven where God resides and above. no holy angel; rebelled there. the heaven here is on earth where the PRINCE OF THE "AIR/HEAVEN", which air is symbolic for the heaven of our sky/atmosphere. the devil seat or place was not found in the third heaven...

    Satan Prepping

As I understand it, to believe and receive Jesus and then put on the full armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18 speaks on the full armor of God that Paul instructs Christians to put on.

Demons, is there any evidence they even exist?

I see you are new here ;) I believe this is obviously false, illnesses that are of the body are caused by micro-organisms, viruses etc. Illness of the mind is caused by defective brain structure and chemistry. Natural disasters are caused by weather events such as global warming, as well as...

Demons, is there any evidence they even exist?

    1. They are mentioned in the Bible and the Bible hasn’t been disproved by anyone. 2. There’s no other explanation for the cause of natural evil, like illnesses and natural disasters. 3. The Bible and the existence of God often comes under attack by demons working for the devil as taught in...

When was "the Messiah" first mentioned in scripture?

In the heaven or realm where Michael lives, that's where Satan was also, that's where he sinned, that's where the rebellion began. I don't know what you mean by 3rd heaven. This thread is about the scriptural references to the Messiah. You could start a thread about your beliefs about angels...

When was "the Messiah" first mentioned in scripture?

while we Waite on #1. #2. "Revelation 12:7-17" Just because a vision is shown in heaven. (the third Heaven), do not mean it took place in the 3rd heaven. start at verse 4 to set the context. Revelation 12:4 "And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the...

Satanist leads prayer at city council meeting

Yes and no. People who have little control or a percieved lack of control in their life makes it easier to find boogeymen to blame. It actually makes sense from their perspective, especially when you consider passages like 1 Peter 5:8 (the devil is like a roaring lion waiting to devour) and...

    Christian Warfare

Yes, I agree with you. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, and wisdom can break down fortresses. Typically, it is a shame to have to resort to violence in order to resolve an issue, or make a point. The taunting of a fool should never threaten a wise and confident person. A person should...

i am not a follower of your ideaology. i was brought up with it, though. i am surprised to see a christian want to see people argue this point. do you have doubts about it?

I very much agree with your second point. The ten Boom family were able to do this, without the use of violence. I admire this faithfulness.

Definitely agree with Ephesians 6:10-12 that our battle is spiritual, rather than against flesh and blood people. I agree for the most part concerning a path of non-violence, although sometimes it may be necessary to come to the defense of the weak and defenseless God had put in our lives to...
