"I often mention the 'work' being done in Heaven. Please read Revelation 5:9-10"
I am not familiar with the Bible, as you are, I am sure, not familiar with the holy books of other religions
Can you please write down in detail what is this work that is being done?
And why God needs to get it...
Yipes, who have you been speaking to.
I often mention the 'work' being done in Heaven. Please read Revelation 5:9-10.
The people who have a first or earlier resurrection (Rev. 20:6) govern over Earth with Jesus for a thousand years.
They have two (2) jobs to do serve as both kings and...
The important point to note, I think, is that Jesus is warning about anyone who “says” they are the Christ because when He, the real Jesus Christ, returns He will not need say anything because it will be completely obviously to the entire world that He has returned. I think this warning would...
"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man." Luke 17:26
What else could "Days of Son of man" mean, other than the time when Christ comes and stays on earth for the second time?
The way I see it, is, Scriptures is giving signs to recognize the true...
In your view and according to how you interpret the scriptures....
In my view and according to how I interpret the scriptures, if anyone returned claiming to be Jesus Christ, he would be a false Christ.
That is why Jesus said: Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’...
I cannot find any specific verse reference to the “Days of the Son of Man”. Do you have one in mind?
I do think the Day of Christ referred to in the scriptures is the removal of the believers/church from the earth. This is followed by the Day of the Lord, the Tribulation Period of judgment upon...
I believe the scriptures referring to the coming of Christ “as in the days of Noah” are concerning His unexpected coming in the clouds only, not to the earth, to take believers (His church) off the earth before the Tribulation Period, which is then followed by Jesus’ return to the earth in power...
Matthew24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Do you know anything about logic? Jesus said that many false prophets would come and deceive many because he knew that would happen, and that is what has happened, but the fact that many false prophets have come doesn't...
No he hasn't. Revelation 19:15 specifically has Yeshua (the Word made flesh), the "Word of God" (Rev 19:13) subduing the "nations" with a "rod of iron", something Mr. Baha never did, nor has Mr. Baha ruled as "king" from Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:16), nor has he been the lone "shepherd" with...
These words are not about the 1000years reign. They are about the the time right before judgment. People will be unprepared and wouldn't believe the judgment will happen. And then when the judgment comes the world will be purged of all the wicked (just as in the flood story).
Then what do you make of these words of Christ, in the context of the 1000 years reign of Christ:
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage...
You are correct. These particular verses about seeing the Son of man in the clouds are not about Baha'u'llah, they are about Jesus.
That is a valid perspective because the men who wrote Matthew and Mark probably believed that Jesus was coming back to earth.
However, that does not mean that...
According to Psalms 110, the LORD rules in heaven and on earth, and the Lord (son of man) will sit at his right hand, until the LORD makes the Lord's enemies into a footstool for is feet. It is the LORD who rules, it is the Lord, who will sit at his right hand, until his enemies have been made...
Baha'is put some of the things in Revelation in the time of Muhammad. They say the number of the beast is the year 666AD when the Umayyads took over Islam.
"You have asked about the meaning of the "four beasts" referred to in Revelations, Ch. 4. ‘Abdu'l-Bahá in a Tablet has given an...
It means He will come again as King of kings in judgment…
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him wascalled Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes werelike a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He [a]had a...
2 Thessalonians 1
... when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels
8 in flaming fire...
Matthew24:30
30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven...
No, and I'm not sure why you are concluding that.
1. Jesus lived in a different culture with its own norms.
2. There is no societal norm that says it is not appropriate to discuss sports in regular conversations.
The following article is from the Miss Manners column, a woman who is paid to...
