Olivia Newton-John passed away earlier today after battling breast cancer for 30 years. She was 73.

I heard about it on the radio earlier today. I remember some of her songs from back in the day, as well as her appearance in Grease.

Rest in peace.

Yes! Olivia Neutron-Bomb, as she was known for a while.

And I have just discovered, from her obituary, that she was a granddaughter of Max Born, the Nobel Prize winning quantum physicist (Born-Oppenheimer approximation etc). I had no idea. Oppenheimer was on the Manhattan Project of course, but I don't think her grandfather had anything to do with the bomb.;)
