So you can't back up that claim.
I'm not talking to the people of India, I'm talking to you, an individual person, who made a specific truth claim and then refused to back it up with evidence.
I suppose, since you don't feel like making that minimal effort, you're also fine if I don't buy into your claims and consider them misinformation in service of a xenophobic paranoia that's sadly all too common among nationalist governments of any country.
Who is "us"?
How many of them have you asked about their opinion on the subject, and how many have agreed to let you speak for them?
Are you President Narendra Modi? If not, then what you just posted is utterly irrelevant to my question.
Let me restate my question in clearer terms:
How many Indians have you, the individual person presenting on this forum under the name Aupmanyav, asked about their opinion on the subject, and how many have agreed to let you, the individual person presenting on this forum under the name Aupmanyav, speak for them?
As they say in India "Modi hai, to mumkin hai"
(If there is Modi, then it is possible)
Back to the topic at hand. Congratulations on the 20 million. At first I was a bit surprised that it would take you until June to get fully vaxxed, but then I remembered that India is a very very very populous country.
Darn! I cannot think of anyIn my opinion, that such a populous country has been working so hard to vaccinate the majority of its population despite the immense difficulties it has faced should really give pause to states and countries that are much smaller and possibly wealthier but are still lagging behind in vaccination and refusing to follow medical advice.
From your link: By rewriting history, Hindu nationalists lay claim to IndiaGlorifying a nationalist zealot who has stoked the flames of division and discrimination in his country is a poor way to celebrate this achievement:

India's Modi rides nationalist fervor ahead of election starting on Thursday
Dismissing all of that offhand merely underlines ideological bias, as far as I can see.
Congratulations to India, its people, and its healthcare workers on this milestone. I wish them all good health and a return to normalcy in the coming months. I also hope that Modi reconsiders his supremacist and unnecessarily divisive politics.

Sure, during the 55 years of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty rule, history was written according to their views. So, the corrections have to be made.

"Results will follow vote-counting on May 23."
The result followed and gave a resounding victory to Modi's party for a second term with a clear majority. 303 out of 542 seats, 56%.
Along with the associate parties it made 353 seats: 2019 Indian general election - Wikipedia
Not only that, we have 500,000 villages where 500 million Indians live. Some of the hamlets are deep in deserts, mountains and forests, where roads have not reached. We are averaging 8 million each day. As per reports 810 million people in India have been vaccinated (that leaves 590 million people to vax, including those below 12 for whom there is no vaccine till now).Back to the topic at hand. Congratulations on the 20 million. At first I was a bit surprised that it would take you until June to get fully vaxxed, but then I remembered that India is a very very very populous country.
Yeah, except for my wife who has just one vax, she had suffered mild Covid earlier, and my younger grandson who is 9, no vax for him till now.Take care, and I hope you and yours have all had your vaccines.
Having Covid and survived seems to give stronger immunity than the vaccines. Add in one dose of vaccine and she is very well protected. Of course as most people know, naturally acquired immunity is very expensive since many do not survive. Human life is expensive. The vaccines are not and still do the job. I know you are not anti vaccine. This message is for those that are.Yeah, except for my wife who has just one vax, she had suffered mild Covid earlier, and my younger grandson who is 9, no vax for him till now.
