I believe not. A higher technological society like our own doesn't appear to help with spirituality and appears to be detrimental.

I am not the guy who's going to understand a lot of math.. I did do some higher schooling in one area of it a long time ago, (engineering) but it's not the right fit

I'm reminded of the TV series Babylon 5. At the space station, there were many species of sentient beings, all with their own religions. The Membari had an amazing religion. Yet Ivanava was incredibly Jewish--there was a whole episode about her sitting shiva (going through a Jewish grieving process).

in star trek even, it seemed like the various aliens had different spiritual styles. But I was reminded to resurrect this thread from recent news.. apparently the pentagon may release some big report later this month or something
