The reason for so much deviant sex and other types of sin is that those who are supposed to set the example are the corrupt ones. They use scare tactics not to really get sinners to stop sinning but to get more money from them. However one can NOT buy God's (YHWH's) favor as was pointed out by Martin Luther with respect indulgences. Now here is something to show how corrupt these who should set the example but do not have become.
Mainstream Religion Is Clueless On Bible Requirements And Confused:
Mainstream traditional religion is truly clueless with respect Bible requirements and what God (YHWH) requires. This may sound a little harsh, but will be shortly proved; but first a few scriptures from the Bible to show the requirements of God's (YHWH's) word and then it shall be shown that they are indeed clueless:
1 Thessalonians 4:1-6, "1 Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk, --that ye abound more and more. 2 For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication; 4 that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God; 6 that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified." (American Standard Version; ASV).
Jude 7, "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example, in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire." (New American Standard Bible: NASB).

Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. 28 And even as they refused to have God in [their] knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;" (ASV)

Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities: 11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, bring not a railing judgment against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as creatures without reason, born mere animals to be taken and destroyed, railing in matters whereof they are ignorant, shall in their destroying surely be destroyed, 13 suffering wrong as the hire of wrong-doing; [men] that count it pleasure to revel in the day-time, spots and blemishes, revelling in their deceivings while they feast with you; 14 having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; enticing unstedfast souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; children of cursing; 15 forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the [son] of Beor, who loved the hire of wrong-doing;" (ASV)
The word of God (YHWH) is clear with walking after the flesh in lust of defilement and deviant sexual conduct, but mainstream religion is confused and blinded for the most part on this issue in keeping with 2 Corinthians 4:4, "in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them]" (ASV). Now some may take strong exception to this statement, but let's look at the facts one example of which was recorded in the 'Orlando Sentinel,' of 11/18/2003 showing this gross confusion on the part of mainstream religion:
"Russian Orthodox Church cuts ties over gay bishop' Moscow-The Russian Orthodox Church announced Monday that it is suspending ties with the Episcopal Church USA, over its consecration of an openly gay bishop, saying homosexuality is a sin and that it 'cannot condone the perversion of human nature. Homosexual sexual contact has always been considered a grave sin by the Christian Church,' the Russian Orthodox Church's Moscow Partiarchate said in a statement posted on its Web site." [Orlando Sentinel-leading Florida newspaper, 11/18/2003].
Obviously this shows that mainstream religion is in confusion with respect the clearly stated requirements of God's (YHWH's) word, and definitely blinded to its righteous requirements. Now this is not just one isolated case or anomaly, but many mainstream religions at present are groping with the question of allowing homosexuals be ministers, priest, and church officials, etc. Some mainstream religions are even considering whether they should permit marriage of him to him or her to her in gross disregard of God's (YHWH's) word, the Bible. This is in gross disregard to God's (YHWH's) stated word at Genesis 2:24, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." (ASV); And Ephesians 5:31, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." (ASV).
Of course, mainstream religion is grossly confused even about God's (YHWH's) requirements for a bishop or church official as shown vividly in the Orlando Sentinel article, but the Bible is clear about these requirements at 1 Timothy 3:2, "The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;" (ASV), note, it says of one wife and not of one man.
While mainstream religion has been blinded with respect the requirements of God's (YHWH's) word and is in gross confusion; the Monotheistic Bible is the Standard Religions experience no such confusion. The Monotheistic Bible is the Standard Religions know the Bible is the Standard and hence conform to it so questions such as consecrating knowingly gay bishops, ministers, and church officials never even is contemplated nor does it ever come up in their midst.
Now, why do many speak evil of the Monotheistic Bible is the Standard Religions? Could be as Matthew 12:34 states, "Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." (ASV); or as 2 Peter 2:12 states, "having your behavior seemly among the Gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by your good works, which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation." (ASV); but let not an evil saying spring forth from you per 1 Peter 3:10, "For, He that would love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:" (ASV).
