Two Gods?!

The usual solutions to the two-gods problem all have their own problems eg

. The Persian version ─ one God is Light, the other is Dark, and neither can get rid of the other. Problem ─ no hint of omnipotence there.

. The Paradise Lost version ─ God is the boss, Satan is an angel, there's a rebellion ─ and the inference that if Satan wins, he'll be the new boss. Problem: any angel can become God, so God is just the boss angel at the moment. Sort of a divine Wars of the Roses. (And think Tolkien, and to a lesser extent Harry Potter.)

. The Job version ─ God is the boss, Satan is one of his senior managers. They make a bet, and Satan torments Job, bankrupts him, kills his wife and children, loses the bet anyway, but keeps his corner office. Problem: all evil comes from God because there's nowhere else it can come from. This can also be called the Isaiah 45:7 version, where Yahweh the one and only God looks Epicurus squarely in the eye and says, "I form the light and create darkness; I make peace and create evil; I the Lord do all these things." If God is really omnipotent, there's no other way it can be.

I won't mention the Trinity version.

2 Kings 15:16 - Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that [were] therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not [to him], therefore he smote [it; and] all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

Numbers 31:17 - Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

Psalms 135:8 - Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

Acts 7:19 - The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

Psalms 136:10 - To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy [endureth] for ever:

Hosea 9:11-16 - [As for] Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.




Seems as if your god doesn't really shy away from infantacide and such... he does it himself and orders others to do it as well.

Hosea in particular points up the ill will between Israel and Judea.

Doubting whether God exists is called agnosticism. It arose because of such a logical error: two fundamental Gods are taken for one God.
Do not get confused: there are only two Gods in the whole world: Existing and Non-Existing (Holy Spirit and evil spirit, cf. John 13:27).

Since there is the Existing God and the Non-Existing god, the Existing God actually exists. Finally, has science proven the Existing God?​

Satan, biblically, is the God of This World.
