Trouble is, you seem to be a kind of extremist Christian who would do away with democracy in favour of a Theocracy (or Theonomy) subjecting the people to a Sharia kind of law cherry-picked out of the OT, with Freedom of Speech smashed up and 'love' thrown away for favour of harsh tyranny.
The extreme forums that you seem to believe in (from your previous comments) show all the above traits.
The people might actually believe that ANY kind of control was better than your kind.

You couldn't hold a conversation about them imo.
Have a look back at how you have written to others.
I think that you need to review your ideas about who Jesus really was, how to build a decent community, how to choose leaders, how to develop legislation and how to judge rightly.
Your ideas are just a mess, is all, but on ReligiousForums we can explain our viewpoints about this, whereas in your world we'd get in to trouble for speaking out.

You are the textbook case for how facile left/right thinking about politics makes people less intelligent.
The problem is the real world is more complicated and diverse than your simplistic way of thinking, as governments pursue a wide variety of approaches to governance.
Singapore: highly capitalistic, low business regulation, low tax yet excellent public services ("big government") and significant social controls with limited democracy/free speech.

Do you think America undergoes a fundamental revolution that dramatically alters the fundamental nature of society every time the government changes even though 99% of everything stays the same? Or are you just talking out of your arse?

You sure do need your moderates, liberals, Democrats and socialists..... Hundreds of millions of them.
I have debated with extreme feminists for years, but having read so many extremist Christians I now do understand why there are so many tough line feminists in the US. A fundie Christian Theocracy would subdue women back to the dark ages. Where I live there are very few Extremist Christians around and hence this could be why women in general here are more moderate with their general equality issues and movements.

Hmm, you might be right. People get so fed up that they go completely the opposite direction. I think that's normal for a period of time though, until the anger subsides, then people tend to drift back closer to the middle. As an ex-fundy and ex-far right GOP member myself, I was very angry for a few years after leaving them, and now am starting to mellow out. However, I still can't let extremists of either side slip falsehoods and silliness into the picture. They always need to be held accountable. You are lucky to be around normal Christians. They are good to have around.

Absolutely! That's one of the 23 poor laws, right there.
Another one is that the wealthy are required, by law, to provide for the poor and to offer them pledge-free loans as far as their working needs go.
Fundie Christians go incredibly quiet when told about the poor-laws, some even insist that Jesus redacted them all!!! Amazing.

Your biggest of many blunders on this thread within this forum is that sensible and reasonable folks can show up your dreadful ideas without fear of being chucked off the forum, which is what can happen on many extremist Christian forums that you might frequent.
It has been such a privilege to be able to gain-say your dreadful ideas without fear of any reprisals.

The point is, debt cancellation and low interest rates on loans and communism are not the same.
Ya, well milton friedmon whom i agree with on alot of views would disagree with you. And he has a PHD and he worked in government and won a nobel prize in economics.

In the days of Jesus, rome ruled. It was not a theocracy. Tithes wer free will support for the synagogues and the temple.
Fascists are authoritarian dictatorship.
Communism is full government control, this it is by default fascists in order to implement its system.
However not all fascists are communists. Some kings give great freedom to its people.

Communism did/does infiltrate and theres a good amount of evidence for that. I dont mind discussing it, if you want to. But, do not make this about me, like "as learned and vigilant as you" refering to me.

I pointed out that it was devised and implemented by Bush jnr and ex-Goldman Sachs CEO Hank Paulson, therefore you must believe GWB and HP are commies.

But "the government" is the people. All the people; sitting down in informal meetings, town halls, committees, &c to decide on issues. There are no authoritarian leaders. There are only common citizens chosen on an ad hoc basis to organize various projects.
It's a co-op, not a dictatorship.
Just because an authoritarian dictatorship in Russia or China calls itself "Communist" doesn't make it so.
