Sick of all the royal baby "news"

I thought I'd come up with something really cool and made a post about it but apparently it's been done :(

It used to be here but I've deleted it

This thread was originally called "Day 01"

But looking in the news, there has been a royal baby, and for him this is Day 01

So can we have a thread about the royal baby?

Personally I'm not bothered but it is interesting to see how the media is trying to brainwash everyone to care

Is anyone actually interested in the private lives of the royal family?​

America was founded by people who left England to found a free nation. Now many of them can't keep their eyes off the Monarchy's day to day lives. Oh, a baby!

I am a brit and make a point of avoiding "royal" whatever. I have deliberately not listened/watched/read any news.

Im i sick of it, nope - but had i not taken the decision to ignore the exciting (sic) news that there is another parasite to feed cloth and house on taxpayers money i am sure i would be sick of if after about 10 or 15 minutes.

Not really, no. I've always found it rather strange that so many Americans are simply fascinated and enamored with the Royal Family. We didn't always have that in America. There was once a time when monarchists were viewed with as much scorn and derision as communists during the Red Scare.

Well, our President likes them. I'm not sure cute is the right word.

"Effectively autocratic oligarchs" seems more like the reason Trump likes Putin and Kim and people like that.
