You realize at times that parts of the Bible are mythological. Moses was one such character.Colonizing occupied land is against the law.
You know the Israelis destroyed over 65 Druze villages in 1967 after Syria was no longer a threat.
The Druze are descended from Jethro of Midian, the priest and father of Mose's wife Zipporah.
They are descendants of Midian, one of Abraham’s sons by Keturah ( Genesis 25:1-4 ).
Colonizing occupied territory is still ILLEGAL.
That's certainly the argument, the law is no good if it isn't enforced making it a clear concession given all the time that has passed since the Six-Day War.Colonizing occupied land is against the law.

Israel won. Syria lost. War works that way. That's how lines and territories are and have been drawn throughout history. It seems Trump is trying to put an end to this contention once and for all in light of the obvious. At least as far as the official US position goes.
The zionists we're refugees seeking sanctuary from European progroms. How do you feel about refugees?Funny how people are okay with Judea and Samaria being Judenrein while Israel on the other hand has to accept all the Arabs that could possibly fit in.

I have not checked into your claim about the villages that were destoryed, but the heights have been part of Israel for longer than they were part of Syria.

And I have think there should be some lasting cost to starting a war of aggression.

So a declaration by the US president, made without consulting Congress, settles the matter? And what of the opinions of the rest of the world, all of which disagree?Sometimes issues just need to be settled once and for all and be done with it rather than to have it continue and fester for more decades to come.
There was a time when both lived together in peace.
