Well the problem is for those that itemize their deductions. The new law had significant changes here. The way the new law works is the more money one makes beyond the middle class and large corporate companies the less proportional taxes you pay. I am low income, therefore the increase in the standard deduction helped me.

Yes... it was help...

I looked this up...

LOL...

Here is the informative :)

  1. I'm a pastor and there are Christians in our church that are Democrat
  2. I'm an indépendant and the only reason I am registered Republican is to influence the system.
  3. Painting a broad brush that Republicans have NO interest in people is erroneous because:
    1. People are people. You have those who have no interest as well as those who do
    2. It makes it sound like that Democrats and Independents are all virtuous people and have no interest in corporations.
  4. It assumes that Democrats don't need votes to survive and don't cater to corporations and organizations to get their vote
  5. It assumes that ALL laws desired by Christians are "evil". Not sure even which laws have been postulated that are evil.
  6. It assumes, erroneously, that we are "MARRIED" to the Republican party which, if they are an evangelical, most of the times would be false. We are married to a Kingdom where Jesus is King.
  7. It forgets that a majority of Evangelicals want to get the "rot" out of politics
  8. It makes it sound like Evangelicals should just vote for those people that you think should be in office :)
I could go on and on...

Is this your personal statement? Or are you repeating an 'evil' media promoted agenda? :D

If I state that ‘the sky is blue’, it is not assumed that the sky cannot be orange, nor is assumed that something else cannot be blue. Perhaps the assumption is in you?

Simple statements of fact do not assume anything else. Only the reader creates the assumptions. Which arise from the blindness of the reader.

Christians, and very very much, specifically, evangelicals are not married to a kingdom where Jesus is King, except in words.

Please check out some of these:
John 3:18
James 2:17
Matthew 5:16
Matthew 12:33-35
Matthew 7:21-23
James 2:26
Luke 6:46
James 3:13

There are so many more.

Saying the sinners prayer at an alter call, does nothing for a person’s salvation (spiritual life)
Going to church does nothing for a person’s salvation (spiritual life)
A person is not in the Lord if the Lord is NOT in the person.
How can we be assured that the Lord is within?
Only through actions. Our actions reflect our wisdom. Wisdom only comes from the Lord, not a church or pastor. The church or pastor can only provide facts.
For instance: John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
You can preach this to your church, but it is only a fact. Like any other statement you may read from any other book. It does not become wisdom (from the Lord) until it is coupled with an action from the person who hears it. Knowledge of the Bible is useless without love.

LOVE

LOVE

Something missing from the Republican Party. Love of money, love of corporations, love of tax breaks for billionaires, love of controlling other people, love of building walls to keep ‘those’ people away from us. These are NOT the things the Lord speaks of when he talks of Love.

A person can only vote for the evil candidates that do evil, because they haven’t the slightest idea what it means to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Our Lord commanded that, and if you observe the bible in totality, that is the message.

The votes that were instrumental in getting the insane evil in office which controls the US, were the evangelicals. The blind.
But then of course, the rest of us who must suffer through this great evil period must still remember the Lord’s words: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.“ Luke 23:24.

Sorry I broke my own rule about bible verses, but I want you to know that I am quite familiar with the Bible.
And ANYONE who really is interested in the Word (which IS the Lord), instead of interested in supporting their self centered illusions through cherry picked Bible verses, would know that the Lord has ABSOLUTELY no interest in walls to be built by evil leaders, nor any interest in filling our supreme court with evil people selected by an evil president elected by evil people so the court can pass laws to oppress other people.

LOVE, not a wall
LOVE, not reduced benefits to poor, sick, and elderly (so billionaires can get richer)
LOVE, not anti homosexual bullshiet.
LOVE, not: I’d rather have a child molester in office than a Democrat”

I could go on and on as well.

I donate all my income to charity, although her real name is "Josie".
I don't have any deductions because I don't get anything. What belongs to my wife, belongs to my wife. What is given to me, belongs to my wife too.

I agree with all your scriptures... your deductions are kinda out there with some misinformation.

BUT certainly, in some cases, your points would be true.

Ya, but before I retired I actually had my paycheck in my hand for a couple of hours twice a month :), and then I deposited it at the bank into "our" account. :(

Third consequtive year in 2017 means the trend began under Obama. And, yeah, the general trends under Trump in regards to the economy began under Obama and have continued at the same rate.
I don't feel sorry for Donald J. Trump, however, I'm a bit jealous of him.
Why? He's a stupid moron who struggles to complete a coherent sentence and get through his daily briefings, he's very insecure, and he's constantly having legal troubles.

Also, his net worth is also nearly a thousand times more than my net worth.
We don't even know his net worth, but we do know he wouldn't have his own wealth had his dad not had it to supply to him, and a lot of rich people speculate Trump isn't nearly as rich as he implies (and Trump's own statements are inconsistent and at times wrong). And we know that despite Trump's promise to do so he never released his tax forms.

And don't forget he has pretty much tucked his tail and abandoned one of his central campaign promises of a wall that will be paid for Mexico. As those of us with a brain knew all along Mexico is not going to pay for it, and they aren't, and instead of a wall he's lowered his expectations to a steel barrier. And of course other promises, such as pulling out of Afghanistan/Iraq, we already did that and the results made it clear it can't be done with having someone who is absolutely brutal stepping in to fill the void in power. We are now simply too globalized to pretend to we can isolate ourselves from global problems, and that includes global terrorism.

There have been fewer food stamp recipients during the first half of 2018 compared to the first half of 2017 ...Reference: Food Stamp Usage Declines for Eight Straight Months | Breitbart , this is a pretty good indicator that the poverty rate for 2018 will even be lower than that of 2017.

Why? He's a stupid moron who struggles to complete a coherent sentence and get through his daily briefings, he's very insecure, and he's constantly having legal troubles.

Numerous executive cabinet members, who've been appointed by the POTUS , have found themselves in legal trouble; but so far, Donald J. Trump has not been legally charged with any felonious crimes.

According to Trump's 2005 federal tax return, he earned $150 million of income and paid $38 million in taxes. What's In Trump's Tax Returns From 2005 - The Atlantic

Doonald J. Trump's estimated net worth is $ 3.1 billion, according to the Forbe's 500 list of wealthiest people. Donald Trump

Donald J. Trump has never really been a self-made millionaire; he did indeed inherit great wealth from his father; however, let's give him credit for turning millions of dollars into billions of dollars

Nobody in his right mind ever expected Mexico was going to write a check to the U.S. for a border wall;. However, Mexico can indirectly help pay for our border security; this would happen if Mexico were to realize how effective border security barriers are at preventing illegal migration from happening at the border between legal ports of entry,. If Mexico were to realize the benefits of having an effective border security barrier, then the Mexicans would likely build an effective border security barrier at her southern border with Latin America; this will help our nation, because this will stop caravans of Latin Americans from getting into Mexico from where they'd pose a greater threat of illegally migrating into the United States.

Most high ranking global terrorists, who've been killed by the U.S. military, have been killed by U.S. drones that can be launched from naval vessels in international waters. There is now hardly any need for U.S. occupational forces to be in some God-forsaken crap-hole place such as Syria or Afghanistan in order to defeat global terrorism.

He's been named in hundreds of lawsuits BEFORE he even started campaigning, with him having more coming in such as those against Trump University.

That's 14 years ago. Surely the number has went up or down since then (and it's still far less than what he himself has claimed).

Lawsuits happen all the time to big shot New York real estate developers. There's nothing unusually about that.

Forbe's estimates of America's wealthiest individuals' net worth is updated yearly.

They don't happen that frequently. And it's not just real estate related. Truly, the Mueller investigation isn't a witch hunt, it's another chapter in the long history he has with his actions and shady business practices getting him into trouble. For Trump, it's really nothing more than business as usual, his life before the EC elected him.

And yet the most recent you had was from over a decade ago; a handful of rich people have speculated since that he doesn't even have a billion. Some wonder if he even has nine digits in his bank. And, again, this was even before the presidential drama.
