A woman without her man is nothing.

Even with punctuation, the sentence doesn't become any more real; it is from an ancient sexist, uneducated society, who don't recognize mostly it is the other way around.....

In most mammal societies, the males would be nothing, without the females organizing them.

In places in India they're now teaching women, how to fit essential things for survival (water, solar, heating, etc); as a woman teaches the children, and thus everyone benefits. :innocent:

Hey, what's you problem?

Just kidding :p

Seriously tho, the thread is absolutely neutral. Dunno what you mean by the above.

It seems to me that most people, male and female, should count themselves as lucky to find anyone who can put up with their crap, and would be well-served to keep this in mind more often.

Agreed. I'd say all of them tho because at least no one is worth anything if not for their parents (a man and a woman) simply for not existing in the first place.

Nuh-uh-ah!

You're confusing things here. I didn't mention social stuff. Crazy readers could get negative implications about me like that, you know ;)

Sure you did, you said man and woman! Those are social categories which we convince ourselves are something biological and innate.

I know of pregnant men! No woman required. I know of women who've fathered children! No man required.
Not everyone's parents are a man and a woman.

Those are rare special cases and cannot be taken as a norm. Dunno why for some reason people sometimes depend on the exceptions and neglect the norms.

But I'm on your side in this. Those special cases deserve love and care just like the normal cases.

@Kirran

On more thing... as least there is involvement of both men and women for every single human being you know of, please don't deny. You're forgetting about grand parent and ancestors ;)

Ah, but normal is another social perception!

Sure! There's lots of men and lots of women!

Those are always social stuff?

Hmm.. they could be. I didn't really mean men and women forcing themselves over each other, I mean it in what I see of the nature of life. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression in this.

I don't disagree with you then. You're bringing a good point.

Yeah, I personally have come to believe that 'man' and 'woman' are social categories which don't have some kind of independent existence. I'm neither though!

No no, I mean to exist in the first place so we could logically have any worth at all :D

Take me for example, I would never have existed if not for my parents. Let's imagine I would have, then I wouldn't if not for my grand parents. Let's imagine not again, then it's the great grandparents and so on.

Please believe me, I'm not trying to look down on a gender by all of this. I'm trying to make sense to genders, specially those who claim superiority in any of them.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that given the large numbers of men and women it makes sense that if not in the immediately preceding generation, in one of those before you're gonna have men and women included in your ancestry. Simply by statistics.

I was just thinking the other day, men may hold positions as the faces of history, but many of them had a woman influencing them. :D

Yes, we do actually have a saying here that goes "behind every great man, a great woman". "Behind" as in behind his success and similar stuff, not behind his back :D

Hello people.

Before you go ballistic on me, that sentence misses punctuation marks. Here, I'll put them for you:

A woman, without her man, is nothing!

Wait, or is it:

A woman: without her, man is nothing?

You make your choice ;)

An important note (edit):
Both men and women need, or at least needed each other. Keep in mind that it required at least a man and a woman to be born as an essential to become human in the first place. Mom, dad, I would never have existed if it wasn't for you. Thank you :)
