I still prefer him to Cruz, and while he is a wild card there are some new possibilities because of that. For example he may be willing to support campaign finance reforms, electoral reforms, tax reforms, natural energy reforms, etc.

So Donald Trump getting elected was part of Allah's plan? God knew when he was forming Trump in his mother's womb and knew all along that he would be president someday.
So, we should be happy with God's will even when it hurts, right?
No, I have no problem with any names people use for God. I sometimes chant Allahu Akbar.
I just want all religions to not judge, hate, or shun eachother and work together. There is power in unity.

I don't understand why people feel that democracy has failed them. If America didn't have the electoral college, Hillary Clinton would be our president by popular vote.
People are shocked and perhaps hurt that such a percentage of Americans supported Trump or disapproved of Clinton enough to vote for Trump. That's democracy at work, right there, even if the results aren't favorable to a good chunk of the nation.
Democracy hasn't failed. If anything, the American people have failed democracy by choosing not to vote and not pushing back hard enough against a corrupt two-party system. Our government fails democracy by conveniently forgetting their actual place and reach of power as per the constitution.
I really don't understand your point by saying this.
