How strong is your faith?

Helpful Friendly Advice
I would say my faith's strength is 100%. I'll tell you why:

We actually function solely on faith alone, and not one individual is exempt from this:

We have faith that our senses and our perceptions are accurate, when in many cases that is the furthest thing from the truth (which we learn, especially, when one or more of our senses begin to 'fail us', such as our eyesight).

We have faith in authority - we believe in things we have never personally experienced, based on what we see as reasonable conjecture.

We have faith in our beliefs - that our approximation of reality and the reasons we operate as we do in it are ultimately based in our own perception of truth, regardless of whether or not that is aligned with The Truth or not (natural law).

Faith in our ability to reach a reasonable conclusion about everything we know is ultimately why we can function at all. Faith is everything to us - and yet modern media and intellectuals denigrate faith to something horrid and blasphemous to intelligence.

The only REASONABLE way to use faith consciously is to marry it to reason - that is to say, by noticing concrete patterns throughout nature (whether that is in people or in Nature itself), we can arrive at working theories which we have no experience to verify but can assure ourselves of by means of faith.

Food for thought, hope you enjoy

(1) At the moment with the faith I'm considering, I'd say about 7. I'm still not entirely sure if it is the only path for me. While if asking about the existence of the divine then that goes up to 9.9/10.

(2) 7 would be the highest, I don't think I go past that point even if I do for a moment think that this is it. There was still enough doubt for me to turn my back to it but also enough faith to return.

(3 and 4) I have looked at divisions but I'm not part of any.

Hope these answers are satisfying.

(1) How high would you rate the current strength of your belief in the god or gods that you worship? For atheists and agnostics, how high would you rate your certainty that there are no gods?
8. Sure, I do my daily prayers, and intellectually I feel as if God certainly exists, but everyone always has that little bit of lingering doubt in their mind. The only way for me to not have that doubt would be for my heart to be on fire with love, as it were.

(2) Like the first question, but give the numerical rating of what your conviction was like at its highest point in your life (if it was higher in the past than it is now, that is).
10.

(3) What would you rate the strength of your belief that your particular denomination/sect/sub-division is the correct one out of all of the denominations/sects/sub-divisions that exist in your religion? Atheists/agnostics can answer this if they were once part of a religion.
10. The only thing I might question is whether there are other denominations in Christianity that are just as true.

(4) Same as question three but when your faith was at its highest point.
10.

My faith goes up and down, depending on my mood.

10 out of 10 is my highest, although it can drop to 5 or so on occasion.

I believe that nearly all the denominations have the basic truth, that the things they disagree on are superficial. A lot of people of my faith agree with me on this, although there are some who don't.

(4) Same as question three but when your faith was at its highest point.
When I first believed.

On a scale from 0 to 10 (with 0 representing absolute uncertainty and 10 representing absolute certainty), how would you classify the strength of your beliefs? Listing the reasons is not necessary, but it is welcomed if you feel chatty.

(1) How high would you rate the current strength of your belief in the god or gods that you worship?

A 5.5....I'm an Agnostic Theist

Probably a 7

A 5. In essence God is truly unknowable but I believe the characteristics of the God I believe in are more likely to be true.

(4) Same as question three but when your faith was at its highest point.
My faith was highest when I was a Christian and didn't think for myself.

10/10 but I question them every day

10/10 But I do not understand him

10/10 but it has fluctuated

10/10 but it is probably not the only correct one.

(4) Same as question three but when your faith was at its highest point.

10/10 but it has been lower.

My belief in the deities that I honor (switching from worship, because that feels too strong to me)? Perhaps a 5. However, the strength of my belief in panentheism is actually a 10. The only thing uncertain to me is how exactly that meshes with all of the different religious ideas out there, and how exactly it is best for me to show my devotion. So, when I say the strength of my belief in the deities that I honor is a 5, I only mean that the strength of my belief in my methods, really.

...I'm making no sense, I apologize.

(2) Like the first question, but give the numerical rating of what your conviction was like at its highest point in your life (if it was higher in the past than it is now, that is).

I'd say this is the highest I've ever been, actually, so my response remains the same.

...I don't really think that there are denominations or sub-divisions within panentheism or within Unitarian Universalism? At least not in the way that I'm thinking of those words. I can't give that a rating.

(4) Same as question three but when your faith was at its highest point.

Again, that'd be the same as it is currently.
