Whilst i no longer consider myself a chaote, it blends rather well with my philosophy on psychology.
I still use sigils every now and then, but for personal change purposes not magickal.
I also find it interesting that so many chaotes are interested in shamanism.

I would say for the most part I use what some call 'Energy Manipulation' with my way of CM. Just concentrate energy for what I need(at the time). Some time I do sit down and come up with stuff for a ritual(little ones mostly) but I'm usually random with what I do and how I work. Emotion plays a big part at times.
I hear that, i woul also say for me its the way and types of symbolism I use.

Perhaps its because charging sigils requires altered states of consciousness and shamanism is all about altered states of consciousness.

Okay this intrigues me...Well, everything in this thread is intriguing, but this especially. My first question is: what is the source material for these sigils? Secondly, in what ways did you use them in psychology class?

I see. That is a very practical application, haha! I guess I meant, where did you learn about them; which ones did you use?

I made them up, and I learned about them from...well, not originally Liber Null, but something derivative of it.
EDIT: Actually, the last one I used was a bindrune of Tiwaz, Ansuz, and Nauthiz.
