Karmic sex between male and female

I'm convinced that with Dharma there can be a divine karmic sexuality between male and female...

Just peripherically.

I have no qualms with consensual sex nor I believe it makes everyone stray away from the path of understanding on every circumstance.

"Tantric sex yoga" is a Western construct. It is better termed as neo-Tantra, and even then, some will find that objectionable as it shares only the name with tantra, and virtually nothing else. It is a prime example of "cultural misappropriation."

Yes, sexual rites exist in tantric Hindu and Buddhist traditions, and their Taoist corollary. However, these are not at all as depicted in Western neo-tantra books/circles.

Can you please clarify what exactly do you mean by tantric sex yoga? I can correct any misunderstandings as to the nature of tantra's actual sexual context, as it's the primary subject of my study.

Nope, you're still wrong
I am aware of the Western bastardization of tantric sex but, not sure where karma would enter the equation [pun intended]

I think that was based on a misunderstanding of the "kama sutra" (kama, meaning throb of desire, rather than karma meaning causality - a common confusion) and its alleged and peripheral link to "tantric sex"

Harmony between male and female would indicate a "karmic energy or vibe" ...

It seems like you're asking me to "explain the explanation."

Well, first of all there is no a-karmic sexuality because that would mean a sexuality without action.

Karma= action (and its reactions)

Believe me, this is not self explanatory. I'm at a loss to understand your meaning.

Okay; resonance of prakash and vimarsha is spanda samarasya (the throb of ineffable union), and I suggest you pursue more along those lines: the word "karmic" is meaningless here: all causal processes are karmic.

One might actually say that the true goal of tantric maithuna (sexual union) is that which is beyond goal, and beyond process; beyond causality. That which is the essence of causality itself; the uncaused cause, satkarya.

That is to say, union is to transcend the mother/father duality which underlies transactional reality, and return to the state of samarasya, non-separation of prakash and vimarsh. This union is uncaused; and therefore, not karmic.

Good question, stephenw, one that I'm frankly unsure of. My egalitarian leanings want me to say that the genders don't matter, but this would go against training and traditional knowledge on this matter. The male/female polarity is key here; though one could make a good argument that any two (or more) partners possess these polarities by default, and can 'function' according to the need of the rite.
