Ok, this thread is getting silly . . . then again I may be contributing to the silliness!
Whether you are a Theistic or non-Theistic Luciferian you are NOT an Atheist.
Atheists have no Faith in anything, they lack Faith.
All Belief systems from RHP's to LHP's (including my Path) has a certain amount of Faith involved.
The Occult itself requires Faith, for there is a plethora of things unknown and impossible to know given our present state of existence.
The Atheist just does away with all of this and lives for and in the NOW.
You sir/ma'am, are on a one way trip to an argument of semantics my friend.
Well I guess that would all depend on the font, and the context it was used.
Actually no, for instance the Understanding of the Temple of Set views the Principle Set as not a Natural Origin (Neter = Nature). Most LHP's have similar Understandings. One could state that all views are of natural origin
Faith is simply defined as a lack of evidence and a glimmer of hope that One's ideas are actually True.Depends on how you define "faith", belief in a higher power no, but faith that humanity can one day solve it's own problems, then yes. As far as the here and now go, they only believe this is your one shot at consciousness so use your time well now, and enjoy it, because one day you'll be nonexistent. But, I wouldn't say atheists only live in the present, many of them are concerned with how we leave the planet when we croak off. So I'd say many think about the future. It's just putting it so simply "atheists have no faith, and live for the here and now" makes it a loaded statement.

and...... this contradicts me how?Faith is simply defined as a lack of evidence and a glimmer of hope that One's ideas are actually True.
Atheism means not believing in any god or deity. That's all.
Everything else is free form.
Almost all atheists reject all supernatural beliefs. However, yes, there can be atheists who believe in some supernatural concepts. They are very very small minority though. I never met any of them in my life.
Science usually helps debunk lots of religious and other supernatural beliefs. So, yes, most atheists hang on to scientific explanations rather than religious ones. But, again, not all.
Atheists can believe in anything as long as they do not believe in a deity. Example, I am atheist and I believe in a natural force that exists in this universe.
Atheistic Luciferianism I have no clue what it is.

You're friend is not a Philisophical Light-bearer but he could be some sort of Theistic Morning Star. I think Theistic Luciferians and Satanist are not of the Left Hand Path. The way an Atheist Luciferian explained to me his beliefs (back in 2005) was that as an Atheist he did not believe in any supernatural deity creator. He did not believe in God.
What he believed was that all Biblical and other religious texts describing angels were really descriptions of aliens or alien technology. Therefore, he believed that Lucifer and angels were really an intelligent alien species that created humanity, rather than floating spirits or deities.
And since he believed that Lucifer and fallen angels were aliens that created humans--that there was no god/no deities just other alien species in the universe that were mistaken as angels and deities by humans.
I guess it's more like Ancient Alien theory--using religious texts as evidence that Lucifer and fallen angels were aliens.
I´ve known more than one atheist who beleives in divination and supernatural.
A-theist
no-god
The only thing you need to be an atheist is to not beleive in God. Period. is the ethymology, is the definition. Any other further elaboration may be common but is definetely unnessesary convencion.

How odd. He was Aaron Donahue's manager. And last I knew it was Donahue who pretty much came up with the religion Luciferianism.
