The Seven Seals Revealed
OK ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your seats. We are about to embark into the dark recesses of the Book of Revelation by John of Patmos circa 95 CE. This is a rich topic for debate. In presenting an interpretation of this prophecy, I am humbly submitting what I have come to know about this book through years of study. The following is a short list of the what each Seal represents. One cant come in and post a books worth of information in a debate forum, so I have forgone commentary. Even though I have reached this point on my own, the idea of the Seals representing the Church is not a new one, as I have discovered. Even Matthew Henry, whose commentaries often overreach by equating everything with Jesus, has said that the Seven Seals represent the decline of the Church from its inception. (See Matthew Henrys Commentaries on the Seven Seals.)
Biblical quotes are from the New American Standard Bible published by Lockman Press 1977. The Seven Seals are not entirely chronological because a Prophet cannot write a script on the future of mankind. The page wont allow me to include an entire quote of each Seal because it is too long so I will only include the first entry of each of the Seals..
The First Seal; Constantine
And I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, "Come."
And when He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come." And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from earth, and that men should slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
And when He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come." And I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
The Fourth Seal; Charlemagne/The Conquistadors of the New World
And when He broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying "Come."
And I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name of Death; and Hades was following with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to Kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.
And when he broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will Thou refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
And when He broke the seventh seal, there was a silence in heaven for about a half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels who stand before God; and the seven trumpets were given to them.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
And he opened the bottomless pit; and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.
And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

I have not explained my position at this point because it will require a reference to Chapter 13 in Revelation. Chapter 13 is everyones favorite and there are widely disparate commentaries that are too numerous to count. I am looking forward to your reactions and comments even though they might overwhelm me.
