LOVE..what does this word really means to you

Love is unity, or a sense of unity. The more time we spend with someone or something, the more intimately connected that person or thing becomes to our very self. It influences and shapes our life and who we are. From this bond comes caring and that caring is love.
True love to me refers to the greatest form of love, or the strongest, which is unconditional. This developes from the most intimate bonds where a person or thing becomes so much a part of your life or who you are that they may even seem greater or more important that your self. The best example is in relation to our children. Can you imagine a greater bond that a child and its mother?

Lol, so my agreement concerning sexual boundaries with my mother who I love is: I really don't want to have sex with you!
The moral of that story is that love is not limited to romantic relationships so why would we define love, even in a conjugal context, as being sex-related?

Yes love sometimes hurts..and who hasn't been through the hurt part. I sometimes think we are slaves to Love....when love arises from the heart, it makes it all difficult to let go.

are you suggesting there is a kind of love that's not true? i would not believe that. love could be anything except hatred, even lack of love on command is love. i mean, if you consider love as a colour, it has endless shades. each is true on its own. only when we begin to compare, we also begin to say it is true or not.
