  • Well considering when I'm not on here I'm looking at such highbrow fare as LoLcats.... I suppose you could interest me. I'll just have to make sure my son is far from the computers alluring glow.
I've begun blogging on a more or less daily basis again. So, the internet is no longer safe for children and the elderly.

I don't know if my blog could interest you, Wolf, but it's here if you ever want to check it out.
Thank you! I hope the same for you and yours too! At some point I'll have you send you a pic of the baby. :D
I hope all is well with you; now that I am rarely here, I don't get to read your fascinating posts!
Good luck, (and health) to you and yours
I'm no "pureblood" myself... but I tend to use the term "First Nations". But each nation has it's own name for themselves and for this land we live on.
I too wish it could have been as it was promised... but then given history, it's no surprise that it isn't. But having running water/water treatment and electricity for everyone would at least be a good start.
    A sad attempt at humor!

I have a great respect for the ways of the Native American people. We may not believe the same things, but I believe, generally, that the way you lived before we (the other 11/12's of me) arrived here would please God much more than our "civilization".
I have also travelled often -and have seen Native Americans denied once again -now that which was promised to them by treaty..... the opportunism of the gaming industry -and the gaining of a fraction of what should have been returned to them -by dealing with that industry.

I am happy to see your children well-fed and -clothed -to see you thriving -but wish it could have been as it should have been.

I feel strange saying "Native American", as that term didn't apply until we (the other 11/12's of me) arrived here.

I also wonder if any or all tribes of the original people of this land had a word or phrase to describe all of the original inhabitants -or to describe the land itself.
Pretty good all around... busy with my last semester of school, busy with a six month old... busy all around actually.
