  • I approve of the blue nametag. I have been busy. StarChaser got hurt at work and I have been dealing with it for months. She just went back to work yesterday so hopefully I can get back where I need to be spiritually.
Pixel art is the obssession over details. If you draw a line and there's a stray dot, you erase that one dot. So really, what you need is patience (which I don't have) and skill (which I lack as well). I'm just as amazed as you are.

Now, for digital art that uses smooth strokes and such, like your avatar, I'd say you either need a mouse or a tablet. Mouse will drive you insane (well, me at least), but it is possible. Tablets are awesome: it's like drawing with a pencil, but it shows up on the screen. I half want one.
Not for another couple of weeks...that's what happens when you have to take vacations according to the Christian calendar, right...?
hmmm, thanks. And oh, I have an assignment, but I guess I'll do it later:D
Lol, that was from Celine Dion's song. I'm good, I'm not gonna be around next week because I have an exam.

    Hi lava. What's up?
They aren't my drawings, by the way, just so we're clear. ;) I do kind of draw, though, using my touchpad or a pencil.

Pixel art is drawn with a mouse, a touchpad... maybe even a keyboard.
Sure. Computer screens are made up of pixels, which are the tiny dots that make up the picture you see. Pixel art is done using programs like Microsoft Paint, where you tweak the dots that make up the picture. The best way to understand it is by looking at pictures. Lots of old games are examples of pixel art.

In my case, my avatar is pixel art; the picture in my signature is not.
They say that one should not wait to age before trying such thing. They say it's better to start younger so that when you age, the moisture of the skin will be maintained. So I guess, you can call me crazy now :(. Ok, I'm sleepy now. * Bows to aunt .lava* have a nice day...;)
lol, not really... I just wanted to apply some. It's like a sort of taking good care of it..
