  • I didn't really care for the church service much. I felt more moved by the fact others were moved. Theologically I found it a little meh, and I'm not into saviours, redemption, etc. I don't believe in original sin, saviours, atonement, anything like that, but it was nice to be there, still.

    Ah, Mormon services are boring. Really boring. But Mormons are amazingly well connected. If I were you I would consider going if you've a few hours spare. Try going once a month, or once a fortnight, or something, so you can show your face every now and then. Other times, try going elsewhere? :)
    Same here. Something I'm going to try to do. I even visited a church for the first time in three years recently. I haven't gone to any places of worship before this for a long time; last was a Hindu temple, but I don't go there because it's out of the way. I could visit gurdwara, but I feel out of place there sometimes.
    Oh I completely know where you are coming from. I feel I spend a lot of time pondering, but not enough time practising. :)
    Sufism, eh? Sounds good. Let me know how it goes. What are you combining with Islam?
