  • Hey I am probably not going to be able to talk with you until later since I have to use my dad's phone to get online. :/
I don't blame you. They can cut more off than you want. I'm lucky being married to a hairdresser who loves long hair, lol. Too many would try to cut more off than I was comfortable with, and making them NOT cut it off was difficult.
You need to remove the split ends - you don't need to have a lot off, just a couple of minutes to do it. Split ends are irreparable and can spread, and just become longer and longer, eventually to the root, that can lead to problems with the hair.

Have you tried keeping the conditioner in your hair as you wash the rest of yourself--preferably about 15 minutes or so? It would take a while to get used to it (about 2 weeks to notice) and you will start to see a difference.

Try not to use a hair-dryer on high because it can dry the hair out. If you use straighteners, use a protective serum/spray because it dries out the hair and damages it.
LOL! Awesome, we're both with hairdressers. :D

I don't use any kind of oil. The Sebaceous gland creates its oil for hair on its own, so I don't see a point in it. The only point in putting oil in the hair would be to make it shiny, which it does on its own if you leave it long enough. :)
Wash hair first, leave conditioner in whilst I wash the rest of me. Then comb my hair with the conditioner in, and then I wash the conditioner out. Usually comb my hair again after washing if need be. Start combing hair from the bottom--never the top, ever. I have curly hair, though.

Additionally, being married to a hairdresser helps. I haven't had split ends in about 7 years. :)
I don't really. Why would an orange make you fat?
Your best bet is to consult a dietician. They will be able to help you best. :)
I checked for you to, seems the nearest is in Switzerland I think, that would be the International Sufi Movement, I'll look some more for you.
Are you a Quraniyya, then? :)

Give up meats, and have as little dairy as possible. Go "near-vegan" if you like, eating yoghurt occasionally, but avoiding most forms of dairy. You could do it temporarily, if you like. Have you considered "the Gandhi diet"?

    1 litre of cow's milk (or goat's?)
    170 g cereals
    85 g leafy vegetables
    140 g other vegetables
    30 g raw vegetables
    40 g ghee
    60 g butter
and 40 g jaggery or sugar
fruits according to one's taste and purse
2 sour limes (juice taken with vegetables or in water, cold or hot)
    salt according to taste

Your best bet is to ask ninerbuff here. He's very good when it comes to health, since he's a bit of a health-buff, lol. :D
It's from a fatwa. I think it comes from the idea, "If much intoxicates, even a little is forbidden".

Nah, you won't get muscular. Giving up meat will be useful, too. Technically, veganism is the best for losing weight, but you can have serious health issues if done wrong.
Not necessarily. Unless you're bench-pressing I doubt you will become too muscular. ;) Besides, smoking is haram. :D
Ahh I see, no wonder it's concerning you. Still, don't worry about minor weight gain. With giving up smoking and taking birth control, you will gain a little weight. If you can barely look at yourself in the mirror, that is the most important thing. You can't dislike looking at yourself and set a goal to lose weight, because once the goal has been reached you may still not be satisfied.

Just take weight-loss slowly and steadily. Take up a physical activity like swimming or soccer, and take up yoga twice a day. Not only will you feel better, but you will be losing at a good speed too. :)
I can understand hon--but it's a short term solution for a long term issue. It causes weight fluctuation, so you could lose weight (say, 32kg) and then balloon up to 58kg because of it. 42kg is not the end of the world--you are by no means fat!! Even a few extra kg is not worth losing your teeth or fertility for. It's better to lose the weight by healthy eating and at a healthy speed.

May I ask your height? :)
Don't go down that road, dear. It's most definitely not worth it. Doing such things, especially frequently, as as being ineffective (often causing weight fluctuation) can cause all manner of things, from dehydration to dental erosion (and possible loss) as well as infertility..
