If it's any consolation, only about 30-40% of all Hindus are vegetarian or vegan. Most eat meat, sans beef.

Also, no one can force you to have such a literal interpretation of scriptures.

It's going well. I allowed myself to step back and evaluate what it is I believe. As such, I'm looking into a school of Hinduism that I really wouldn't have before.

Boy, are they ever. Almost everything about the game is perfect. The ending blew me away. Okami is one of the few games that has ever had a massive impact on me.
