  • I suppose I like the idea of labels simply for the ease of explanation of things; it saves a hell of a lot of time explaining things.

For example, I could just easily say "I'm a Christian", then, 'nuff said, people know what I believe. If they say "What religion are you?" And I come out with a big list, especially here, they'll just go " Wha?" :D I think it is partly to belong to a group, as well.

That's why I'm currently trying to find a faith system that I like, something that rings true to me. :)
As one yet unenlightened incarnate aspirant 'ben d' to fellow aspirant 'Brahman', there is nothing to explain for "I" do not have any expectation of attaining enlightenment!

Enlightenment is all there is when the "I" disappears as the temporary illusion that 'I' am. BRAHMAN is birthless and eternal so only when reintegration takes place will the unenlightened "I" presently known as 'ben d' disappear and only BRAHMAN remains. Then and only then may it be said by the still yet unelightened incarnate aspirants that 'such and such' an aspirant attained enlightenment.

    From a Sufi Master,...

I thought of You so often,
    That I finally became You,
Little by little You drew nearer,
Slowly but slowly I passed away.

In the mean time, the God within me, acknowledges the God within you and trust that our aspirations for enlightenment will cease permanently sooner rather than later.
Ahh, I see :) Sounds good.

I love the concept of Brahman. It's so beautiful to me, and it just rings true!
Yeah, me too. I like Christianity a lot, but there are things that I don't like about it, for example, the concept of eternal Hell (Which I don't believe Jesus taught), the "Chosen people", etc. :)

I like the Hindu concept of God (but I'm not keen on devas at the moment in the sense that they can die). How do you manage to mix Buddhism and Hinduism in one? :)
I too am interested in Hinduism and Buddhism, and I think if I could combine the two, I would be happy; so long as I could have Jesus and angels in there. ;)

I really need to get back into meditation. It's very difficult for me to do though because I have 2 children who don't leave me alone! :D

And you're welcome for the frubals. :)

I'm going to bed now, but if you message me, I will message back when I am next online (probably tomorrow). :)
    Haha, no worries :)

I'm happy to hear you have been having inner realizations. I pray that they will come swiftly to me, too. I've been a seeker for like, over a year and a half now! Sucks! :D

I look forward to reading your posts :)
I'm fine thank you, and how are you?

I find your take on faith to be very interesting. :)
