  • Indian groom is a good idea, but nowadays many of the Indian grooms and brides are anything but Indian. So, ask ur parents to be careful. Also, there will be a cultural gap- that is a fact, unless in ur upbringing u have actually physically visited India often and have first hand experience of the culture. For people raised outside India, a good charactered person who is raised in the same circumstances may also sometimes be a good match.

Having said all that, if u find a groom from India who is actually living as a "Hindu" and is by heart a "Hindu"; u will have a blessed marital life. Look at the "family history too."
