What is a distinguishing or important feature of Soto Zen?
Would you say that there is a particular darśana or philosophy that you align with to some extent?
Hinduism.
Advaita Vedanta school of philosophy.
Not in this life. I was born into a Catholic household and raised in that religion.
If you want to call it that. It was more a falling away from Catholicism as a result of tenets and dogma that didn't align with my worldview.
Do you mean there is a greater distance between each member of the Baha'i Faith than there is in any other religion?

On that we agree. There's some Christians around... if you hear them preaching they're more "Paulinian" than Christian
(Which is more fun in German, since a "Paulinian" - Paulaner - is a popular brand of beer)
When you gain more adherents, perhaps. For now your religion is a small percentage of the global population. I listed the Big Five as well as a broad category for Paganism. That's supported by the data. You can always create your own thread with your own polls any time, though.
Interesting! From what I’ve seen online throughout the years, a lot of Westerners who identify with Taoism tend to follow just the philosophy. So, I find it really cool that you practice Taoism as a religion. (If I were not following Hinduism, I’d probably be drawn to either religious Taoism or Buddhism.)
Is there a particular ‘camp’ within Anglicanism that you identify with?
Why gain adherents when you can just tell people of other religions that their religion is the same as the Baha'i Faith?

That is a very fair and thoughtful stance.
A couple of thoughts:
- (Buddhism + Hinduism) > (Christianity + Judaism), which provides a good balance;
- I'm surprised by the large (Paganism/Neopaganism) count;
- I'm pleased by the small (Other Religion) count;
- I wish we had more participation.
The complete lack of regular Muslim members is also notable. Though we get what feels like a disproportionate number of threads dedicated to how awful their religion is, so perhaps it isn't surprising.

Maybe someone oughta make a Islam appreciation thread.... (If no one else does, I'll do it sometime in the coming days.)
If there is, I'm unaware of it. I've always been curious if there's one out there that does, and I haven't run across it yet.
I'm more focused on Bhakti than anything else, but I worship several deities rather than just concentrating on one.
Do you have a principal deity or are all worshiped equally?
I have a few I feel I'm closer with than others, but I acknowledge them all as glorious.
You might not find such a philosophy, but you may meet a guru who you align with with respect to how you practice.
I figure I will be lead to where I'm meant to go.
The last time I entertained such thoughts I ended up in Nebraska.
How was Nebraska?
To be honest, I rather enjoyed my brief stay in Omaha. It's the five hour drive from Omaha to Julesburg that I found a bit off putting.
