"THE LORD'S DAY IS THE SABBATH DAY NOT SUNDAY ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURES

3rdAngel said: God says it does. Its one of Gods' 4th commandments (Exodus 20:8-11).
Your response here...
Hmmm… 3rdAngel, it seems you do not have a concrete answer but just keep posting rhetoric. Your posts are repetitive wordings as of an auto-bot!
Well aren't you the funny one Soapy. Scripture was posted showing Gods' Sabbath is one of Gods' 10 commandments in Exodus 20:8-11 which in the new covenant, give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4) and James says in James 2:10-11 if we break anyone of Gods' 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin, and you say that Gods' Word is rhetoric and autobot? I see you on autobot unwilling to address all the scriptures and post content provided to you that is in disagreement with you posting your words that are in argument with Gods' Words. Your argument therefore is with God not me dear friend.

Your expertise is in always asking for proof. How many times did you use ‘proof’ and ‘prove’ in your posts?
Agreed. If I know what someone is stating in their post is untruthful and false I will ask them to prove what they say. If you make a claim and accusation than the burden of proof is on the one making that claim to prove what they say. If they cannot it only proves that the claims or accusation that is being made is not truthful.

Again, non-specific queries…. representative of an auto-bot!
The OP has been up for comment for some time now. If you disagree with it show why you disagree and make your argument. I am not interested in playing childish games with you Soapy. How old are you? I am guessing not very old. If you want to discuss the OP, lets discuss it. If not find something else to do.

Well, to be honest, though he did not admit it, he finally saw that he had been running away. Sadly he could not address my next post. He had to deflect. I am pretty sure about 90% of his attacks against others consists of repeating observations that others have made about him. If he keeps on topic he loses, and he seems to know it.
Why say things that are untruthful? Every time you do this you know it makes me smile because I will ask you to prove what you say and you always end up running away. You lose again :)

Thank you for proving my point. You do not disagree. Right here instead of disagreeing and supporting your case you said "what on earth is wrong with you". Sorry but that is a person attack.
But there must be something wrong with someone who talks continually of ‘being attacked’. Now you have gone one step further and label yourself ‘attacked’ when it is pointed out that you continually speak of being ‘attacked’. Unbelievable, and yet there it is, in your own words. You proved my point.
There is nothing wrong with disagreeing. I have not tried to insult your intelligence for your repeated failures.
You haven’t? SZ, I could produce a long list of your insults about other posters’ intelligence. Would you like me to do so?
But that is what you do here. And then you end this with another false claim that is a person attack. I am not the one that would fall apart in a debate. In an actual debate moderators would be all over such a short statement like you just made.
LOL! You obviously don’t take part in many debates.

Did you read the OP? *Exodus 20:10 "But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God". You do know there are seven days in the week right?
I'm afraid SZ is very confused about the words exegesis and eisegesis. He uses them incorrectly.

I very rarely talk about being attacked. It does not happen often on this forum. Only you and your cohort recently. And of course you had to make it personal again.

If you want to be taken seriously don't support your opponent by doing exactly what he has claimed that you do. Just a helpful hint.

And if you produce a list, do it correctly. Links are needed and quotes cannot be taken out of context.

There is a false claim right there. Post me a link where you have proven your claims and prove what you say. If you cannot you are only posting your words you are unable to prove unsupported by and facts.

Again more false words you are unable to prove. You were posted you denying you. Cant get any better than that. It makes for real popcorn reading

I have been waiting for you to start posting facts so we can start having a discussion. I am still waiting. You are not being truthful because you have not posted any facts.

Well that is also not true. I am still waiting for you to start discussing the OP instead of making this detour because you are unable to discuss the OP is why you are here right now so it is you who is running away from discussing the OP. I am just here trying to encourage you to make a start to discuss it.

You have not posted anything accurate in our current discussion and this has been proven to you in earlier posts, but I am happy for you to start discussing the OP now if you are finished and ready to make a start.

Take Care
Oh my!..Failure on the first shot. This has been explained to you many times. You should have asked questions when you error was explained. You don't get to demand "evidence" long after the event.

I really do not care about all of your constantly lost arguments. If you don't want me to refer to them then change your behavior.

Are you done running away yet?

That was factual. I will remind you once again that when you refuse to acknowledge questions, as you did constantly, that is running away.

Just ignore your past losses if they bother you so much. Try to concentrate on the goal.

Yep correct sis, like burden of proof and evidence. Then he projects on to others what he is actually doing as a distraction to addressing any post content. Well we have tried to help here here but you know what they say, "You can lead a horse to water....".

You have not provided anything factual SZ. If you have you would be able prove what your saying here and not run away from a discussion.

Nope sorry I am just enjoying the popcorn. As posted earlier I do enjoy our chats even if there is nothing truthful in what you say. :)

God created the heavens and earth in six days and rested on the seventh. The Sabbath Day is the seventh day, connected to when God rested. The 8th day or Sunday, would begins a new cycle of creation; new work week. Let there by light would have occurred on the first Sunday; day 1, so seven days add up to Saturday.

The question becomes how long did God rest, since a heavenly day is not necessarily the same as an earth day? Also, by the rules of the Sabbath, one is not supposed to work on the Sabbath. Who was working for God as God rested to recharge his batteries?

Like the human Sabbath, God would have made provisions for others to do the tasks that need to be done; feed the animals, as he rested. Such provisions were set up in Eden; tree of knowledge of good and evil and Satan appear. God warns Adam and Eve, but he does not stop them, because he was resting on the Sabbath. Adam and Eve end up in another place to be cared for, as God rested in paradise. They came to the earth ruled by Satan and law; Lord of the Earth.

When did/does the Sabbath rest of God end? There is no clear cut quote for this. However, this might be inferred by looking for God caliber creation appearing once again. The litmus test would need to be beyond what science can explain. This happens near the end of Revelations after the Rapture; Heavenly Jerusalem descends to the earth made of precious materials. There is nothing as spectacular as that, in the Bible, after the first six days of creation, until that time. This seems to suggest that God has gone back to work; day 8 or the second Sunday.

What is interesting is the Jews see Saturday as the Sabbath; day of rest as God rested, while the Christians see Sunday as their day of rest. This would mean the Christians; Gentiles, had to work on the Saturday Sabbath as God rested; supported the Jewish Sabbath. They got their day of rest; Sunday, when God comes back online, and starts his second work week. Wipes away all their tears.

In the end of Revelations, God creates a new heaven and earth. He is fully back online and decides to start from scratch and do it right the second time, without Satan. There is no more law, with the Tree of Life appearing again with its twelve type of fruits and leaves for healing the nations; software and firmware updated.

Your inability to see the evidence does not mean that it does not exist.

False again. The only way to show that you were and again are running away was to ask you questions that you were afraid to answer, and in most cases you even pretended that they did not exist.

You are still running. It is your OP. Why are you afraid to discuss it?

Oh I have plenty to say. But you keep demonstrating fear. Why else would you continually run away from discussions about the OP?

Are you still afraid?

You appear to have no answer to the fact that the six day creation story is a myth. Or that the Hebrews got their seven day week from the Babylonians. You are applying exegesis improperly.

There is only 7 days in a week not 8.
