COVID killed twice as many republicans as it did democrats.

Conservatives politicized the pandemic and refused to abide by preventative measures thereby contributing to the spread, causing a lot of sickness and death that could've been prevented.

People were chugging horse dewormer and fishtank cleaner, FFS...
Again...my health choices and beliefs are not political.

I wonder how many times it has been explained to him that in a large population that you will see every medical event. VAERS collects raw information. For any malady when you are talking about a population of hundreds of millions you are guaranteed to see some people get it. The question is how does that percentage compare to a control group. It does not appear that the number of cases attributable to the vaccine is almost zero or zero when one does that.
Exactly. I know I've pointed it out myself many, many times. And yet here we are. Again.

So you can get hit and die anyway?[
The analogy doesn't work.
Yes, even if you look both ways before crossing the road, you can get hit and die.
Does that mean you're never going to look both ways before crossing the road again? Probably not, right?

" Why should I get vaccinated?"
" Because the government said so."
Uh, no. Because all major medical associations and all the evidence indicates that you should get vaccinated.

" Will it keep me from getting covid?"
" Um, no."
It will most likely keep you from being hospitalized, put on a ventilator, and/or dying from COVID. It will keep the hospitals from overflowing with patients which causes unnecessary deaths and backlogs for people needing non-COVID related medical attention.

" Will it for at least prevent me from dying of covid?"
" Not necessarily."

" Are there any risks?"
" Well, um, yes, there's always the risk that you will develop a heart disease that will either kill you or be with you the rest of your life, but hey, you will possibly have a slightly less severe experience with covid, unless you happen to be healthy anyways and then it isn't going to make any difference."
The risk of developing heart disease as a result of having COVID is much higher than the risk from getting it via the vaccine.
Oh, you didn't know that?

"I think I'll pass."
" What are you, some kind of conspiracy theory nut?"
Well let's see, hospitalizations and deaths from COVID are way, way down, while at the same time the vast majority of the population has been vaccinated (and boosted).

Your answer: Gee, I don't see the connection. I'm gonna go with conspiracy nonsense instead. Vaccines must be poison.

Such as the Florida surgeon general.
My uncle knows a naturopath who thinks it's healthy to drink hydrogen peroxide.
You gonna start drinking it now, based on that guy's word alone?

Oops, I just did a quick search and it turns out the Surgeon General of Florida went to Harvard. I guess we have to dismiss his opinion as biased now, right?
