Perhaps you need to make your thoughts clearer.

Perhaps you may be right.

What did you intend to convey when you wrote "My guess is that what is actually of God and not man, will win the day."

That God will win the day, not the people that took control of a nation without authority to do so.

Are you talking about now and the foreseeable future with the Taliban in charge?

I am talking about those that practice peaceful ways and uphold the rights of minorities and women.

Are you asserting that it was God's will that the Taliban took over?

No

Are you conveying that it was acceptable to God that the Taliban took over

No

Are you denying that God and Allah are one and the same?

No

Are you denying that the Taliban worship, and believe they are doing the work of, Allah?

Many people beleive in things that are not correct.

In the end Truth will be the teacher.

I asked when.

When will God win the day? If it doesn't happen for many hundreds of years, there will be many enslaved women, again. All living under terms and conditions presented to Arabs by your Messenger Mohammed.

Many people beleive in things that are not correct.

In the case of the Muslims and their views toward women (and human rights in general), they were taught by your Messenger Mohammed.

Again, when we actually practice what Allah asks of us and not via the terms and conditions of wayward souls who have a lust for power and see themselves as God, they are not servants of the God that does as God wills, they are not servants of the Cause given by Muhammad, they are servants unto their own wills.

What Muhammad taught, is not what they practice. People that keep up with that line of reasoning, that Muhammad did teach those incorrect views, are just as responsible as those that commit the error.

Baha'u'llah has now given us the required guidance so we can rectify the errors and allow women the God given right of Equality with men. The God given right to be in public and have the same opportunities in education and freedom of choice.

"That God will win the day, not the people that took control of a nation without authority to do so."

or when God makes a choice to exalt His Cause. ;)

“Warn and acquaint the people, O Servant, with the things We have sent down unto Thee, and let the fear of no one dismay Thee, and be Thou not of them that waver. The day is approaching when God will have exalted His Cause and magnified His testimony in the eyes of all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 248

I was just thinking about this this morning Susan :D

God's plan appears to allow for all our mistakes and neglect of the given Message. I look back on all the missed opportunities to serve this Faith and yet God still allows me to have Faith.

In the end Baha'u'llah said if the Baha'i do not get off their butts to establish this cause, it will be handed over to others. A very fair warning I would say:oops: :)

We are given the chance to our last breath to become a true servant to a God given cause.

I would not be so hard on yourself Tony, I see you as a true servant of God. If anyone has missed opportunities it is me, since I was a Baha'i for 42 years before I decided to "try" to do something for the Faith. Now I am trying to make up for lost time and that is all I can do, I cannot go back in time. I have no regrets because I was doing what I was supposed to be doing back then and all that led up to where I am today.

When we make the choice to.
So you are admitting it is not up to God. It is up to people. People like the Taliban who will make womens' lives miserable by following the words brought down from God/Allah by your Messenger Mohammed.

If it's not up to God, then there is no real reason to pay him any homage. Things are exactly the same with God as with His complete absence.

People, like ISIS and the Taliban, are doing what they believe God wants them to do. If your Messengers made God's will so open to interpretation, it is either the fault of your God or your Messengers.

Seee post #191 above.

Is that why there are no women allowed in the Bahai inner circle?

You can blame whoever you wish to Ecco.

Personally I stand up for my own mistakes, try to do better and judge no other person but to judge the action against what I see God has asked us to be. Thus I judge actions against the equality of women with men as tyrannical.

If you wish, find and explain a passage in the Quran where women can not be educated. Remember when you do so, that this statement is the moist plausible explanation.

"... A basic principle of Islamic Shariah states that when a commandment is revealed, even if the masculine form of word is used the female gender is also included in this commandment. If this principle is rejected then the basic pillars of Islam such as prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and alms-due will become null and void for women. So though God Almighty and the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) use the masculine form of sentence to describe most of the commandments, women are also bound to act and follow those rules and regulations."

That has naught to do with Equality and there is no Baha'i inner circle. Just Baha'i with service opportunities.

That will not prevent you or anyone thinking about it in any other way though.

Show me anything in the Qur'an that would lead people like ISIS and the Taliban to do what they are doing.

The men doing that (ISIS, Taliban, et. al.) use the scripture that your God passed on to man via His Messenger Mohammed. They are doing what they see as what God has asked them to do.

That same message is used to keep women out of Bahai's inner circle.

I am not the one restricting the education of women. I am not going to look through the entire Koran to search for specific text. The reality is that ISIS, etc are very religious Muslims. They found rationale to do what they do.

The Bahai Inner Circle AKA...(my emphases)

Universal House of Justice - Wikipedia

The Seat of the Universal House of Justice and its members reside in Haifa, Israel, on the slope of Mount Carmel.[1] The most recent election was 29 April 2018.[4] Although all other elected and appointed roles in the Baháʼí Faith are open to men and women, membership on the Universal House of Justice is male-only; the Baháʼí writings indicate that the reason for this will become clear in the future.

Do I understand some things about the Bahai religion that you are ignorant of?

That will not prevent you or anyone thinking about it in any other way though.

Facts are what drive my knowledge and thinking.
