I am a former Catholic, but will observe that Barry Johnson, like many other "Bible believing" people, has a very inaccurate and skewed version of Catholicism. For example, he apparently is ignorant of the fact that about 2/3rd of the words of the Catholic mass come directly from the Bible. He is apparently unaware that every Catholic mass includes a reading from the Old Testament, a reading from Psalms, a reading from a non-gospel section of the New Testament (Epistle or Acts) and a reading from a Gospel.
