atheists and theists are alikev. they go on belief/unbelief.

god isn't something polar to self, isn't something separate from self. god is something about self.
be still and know god. i will be exalted in the nations. i will be exalted in the earthly body.
god knowing doesn't mean the spiritually dead know. something has to wake them up. Sometimes reality bites the self-deceiving into wakefulness.

Your question was about God, not atheists or theists.
There is no such thing as an atheist anyway, they would have to admit they have ALL KNOWLEDGE. which no mortal has.
Just a lot of agnostics - mortals without divine knowledge.
