Sorry the number of soldiers killed in one night by an angel is 185,000 not 186,000 what's 1000 soldiers between friends.
You can read all about it in Isaiah 37:36

Just because you haven't encountered a Demon or Angel doesn't mean that they don't exist. Many of us have had physical contact with them. But don't worry, you will eventually have to deal with them whether you like it or not.

Again, a nice hypothesis. Do you actually have any evidence of Demons or Angels? You claim that many have had physical contact with them. Any proof of this claim?

E. O. Wilson has revived the old term 'consilience' to designate different lines of evidence or knowledge pointing to the same fact, truth, hypothesis, etc.

Obviously, spellcheck doesn't read Wilson's books.

It's amazing how often spell-check doesn't like words I use as a matter of course. What is more annoying is when auto-correct replaces my perfectly good word for one with the opposite meaning.

I have found that auto-correct on my phone dislikes my wife's name. Not good.

You can't be a Christian and not believe in God. God just happens to be a Creationist

There are many people who believe that Jesus was the son of God who came to forgive sins, died and was resurrected, and was a separate but equal aspect of Godhood.

Not all of them think the Bible is literally true in every respect.

But you can measure wind speed. You can cool it until it liquefies or solidifies and see the result. It reacts chemically and we can measure that.

it is only invisible to our eyes, not to our methods.

Any evidence outside of a book of myths?
The evidence is, you are an eternal being who will never cease to exist. Your body will die and your soul will go to Sheol, meaning "place of the dead". Then you will be reunited with your body on judgement day and go to your final eternal destination.
You can't see your soul but you know it's there because you can experience invisible things like love, hate, sadness happiness etc.

That's not evidence, that's another claim for which you have given no evidence.

How does that demonstrate a 'soul' rather than just a functioning brain?

Is this not simply denying the evidence? Why would I suspect that this sort of consistency is not actually valid? Simply because someone *claims* it was 'made to look old'?

OK, how do you *test* the theory that it was 'made to look old'? In particular, how would we show it to be *wrong* if it is? You proposed it, now substantiate it.
There are literally mountains of undeniable evidence for a young earth. I would be here for the next six months listing and categorising all the evidence. The big problem everyone has, is ignorance. They refuse to look at all the available evidence, they just put their blinkers on and stare at their comfort zone all day long.
I can tell that none of you guys ever looked outside the box, and that's really sad and tragic as well

I didn't have my camera handy at the time of my encounters but many others have. There are thousands of genuine pics and videos of them but I know you're afraid to step outside of your comfort zone to see them

I know there are many false professing Christians. Jesus said many Christians would be cast into hell because of their false profession.

So you believe love is a martial thing made of dirt, if that was the case we would be able to see it. But you know full well you can't see spiritual things and you know there's a spirit within you, the only important question is what kind of a spirit it is and where is it taking you

Where is the evidence for that? You can make the claim, but that is not a proof.

You can't see your soul but you know it's there because you can experience invisible things like love, hate, sadness happiness etc.

How does that prove the existence of an eternal soul? At most, it proves we experience emotions, which can easily be explained by the fact we have brains that do this.

Irony off the scale again. You are describing yourself and your own attitude to evidence. This is obvious from the basic mistakes you keep making about what science actually claims. That is clear evidence that you know nothing of the theories you criticise.

I can tell that none of you guys ever looked outside the box, and that's really sad and tragic as well

I've actually wasted quite a lot of time looking a creationists' 'evidence'. The sites are full of misrepresentation, distortion, and flat out falsehoods. I also pointed out (in #865) somebody who believed what you do and was forced, by the evidence he saw for himself, to change his mind and who, just like myself, found that YECs don't care about real evidence.

We can image the brain when the emotion of love is being experienced. It is quite distinctive in the way it shows up.

Emotions are a brain function, like thoughts.

I see, so you think I'm using the scientific method to prove my case. Nah, I don't use the old subjective method of circular reasoning. I'll leave that to the pseudo scientists, they have mastered the art.
You did not answer my question.

You said: If a single one of the hundreds of Bible prophecies, or one of the hundreds of God's promises ever failed to come true I would immediately abandon my faith and become an Atheist.

I asked: So have all the many verses wherein Jesus promises that the Son of man would come in the clouds come true?

If you do not give me a direct answer I will consider that obfuscation.

Now, you know that these prophecy- believers
will always say it will come true, or, that it did.
Even though it didnt.
