Well, if he's not an historical figure, what kind of figure did he have? Barrell chest, built like a bear? One of those wide-shouldered, narrow waist Adonis models? What about round and squat? Or was that even a thing back then? Some folks say you only first saw that in some of our states, post the invention of deep fried pigskins.

Getting a little more serious, Eddi, I know this must sound like a dumb question, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'alive'. Let me clarify... If you tell me the stag that strolled past my window the other day is alive, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. But if you tell me that Jesus is alive, then I begin to wonder. Because it seems to me that the many ways I have of deciding the stag is alive -- none of them apply to Jesus at the moment. So, could you please clarify what you mean here by 'alive'? i.e. in what way is he alive, and how do you know it?
By that I mean to say that I believe he is alive in that he currently has a living body and a conscious mind

I'd assume he would need to be so Christians can die to his flesh so they can be alive in his spirit?
Not sure many Christians would approve the OP view, but as an otherworlds-accepting ancestor-worshiping Pagan, I approve the idea in spirit.
